Question: Is it illegal to view child porn or to own it? If it's illegal to view it, what happens when that **** is spammed to you? I get ads for "hot and horny teens" all the time. Since I use Eudora, I occasionally get a glimpse. Am I breaking the law? Should I just batch delete everything in my in box to make sure I never catch a glimpse?

If Townsend is really the sick puppy people here would like to think he is, then one would expect to find quite a bit of child porn around. It's highly unlikely that a man of his age would suddenly develop an interest in child porn, so there should be a lot more evidence lying around.

Should a person found with a few rocks of crack cocaine receive a harsh prison sentence? Many people say, "No, he should receive treatment instead." I happen to agree.

He shouldn't even be punished in any way, but I believe drugs should be legal. Child porn is another matter, it should be illegal and by funding it, he helps create the demand.

I also think that a person caught downloading child pornography a single time (as far as we can determine) should be treated similarly.

I'd give him probation, that's probably what he'll get.
