In more recent developments, Campbell's a big fat liar.

Campbell failed the roadside sobriety test of walking a straight line. He voluntarily gave a breath sample at the roadside. He blew .161, more than twice the allowable limit.

Last week the premier revealed he had blown .149 but that was in his second test, the one taken later at the police station.

Maui police reports say when Campbell was arrested he slurred his speech, smelled of alcohol and had trouble standing.

Campbell, the reports say, was so drunk he could not have safely driven a car.

An officer saw Campbell drive up to 70 mph in a 45 mph zone.

At one point the premier's car strayed over a double line into the oncoming lane. Later, when a another car approached, Campbell slammed on the brakes and pulled his car onto the shoulder.

When the officer stopped Campbell, the premier had "watery eyes, oily facial features and slurred speech."

As Campbell got out of the car, the officer saw him lose his balance and use his left arm to support himself against the vehicle. He was swaying from side to side.

Just take out "BC" in your first sentence and it becomes even more interesting.

I doubt it. Chrétien would kick some ass if it came down to it. I'm starting to get sentimental about the old bastard.

I have a few sentiments for the SOB also. I make it a point to wish him all kinds of things every morning when i drive in front of 24 Sussex on my way to work.

Ah, the memories. He's the kind of guy I love to hate. I'll miss him when he's gone.

Paul Martin is just somebody I hate...

If (big if) the tories had a half decent candidate they could make some gains in QC IMO. Nobody wants to vote for the Bloc anymore and i get the feeling Martin has already lost a lot of his appeal.
But anyone would be better than JC.

They should vote NDP (NDP is actually polling above 10% in Quebec; when was the last time that happened?)

That's what i mean : no one wants to vote for the Bloc but most Bloc supporters won't vote for the Libs. They won't vote for the Alliance, they won't vote for the PC since they don't know who's going to be the leader and ol'Joe is little more than a joke.
The appeal of the NDP? No one knows anything about their leader!

Anyways: when the picture gets clearer on who's going to be the new leader of the PC and Libs, the polls will definitely change.

BTW : I'm still waiting to see when Brian Tobin will make his triumphant return. He's the only one who's managed to steer clear of the mess that is the Libs succession run and he's got too much ambition to stay away i think.
