  • Grandmothers in their forties...

People have sex far too young... I know people my age who got grandparents in their fifties... ahem... they're great-grandparents by now...

maybe someone can explain to me what is the appeal of being barely middle aged and having grand-kids?

    thanks

The appeal isn't being a middle aged grandparent. The appeal is sex for a horny teenager, they don't think of the future.

Lemme see. I got married at 25, baby born later that year.
Daughter is 22 and I'm 47. She's about the age her mother was (23) when we got married.
        What was the question ?

my cousin just had a baby, making her mom (41) a grandmother and my grandmom (73) a great grandmom. She had the baby when she was 19.

see, my sister, and a few of my cousins are all having kids (early 20s is about right for that)

so it is normal for greatgrandparents to be in their early 60s, grandparents in their early 40s, and parenst in their early 20s

When I said grandmothers in their forties i more meant they got like 7 year old kids when they're like 43 (hence, the whole thing about great-grandmothers who is in their 50's)

but people dont see this as a problem? People having to do mature pre-maturally and ****. 16 years olds being parents... 37 year old grandparents... 55 year old great-grandparents....

                    thanks

not a problem - if they give out.

People had children younger than that in the old days... you know, those days when FAMILY values ruled

And as stated earlier... you aren't the person that decides when you will be a grand parent or great grand parent...

So what's your point with this thread except to whine some more about how something doesn't agree with your narrow view of what's right or not...

Fine, let's assume Speer is right, that teenagers having kids at 16 is a problem.

What do you suggest should be done about those thoughtless teenagers?
