  • The Jets lost to the Bears, that is grounds for no play-offs.

    • Yeah... a loss against the Bears should be an automatic no play off slot

      • Totally.
I still feel that it is pretty stupid. Ah well.
I think that next year if we can really press the offense with Brady and Faulk we can have something. Also we need that killer D we had last year... what the hell happened to that???

        • Summary: The Eagles lost, the defending champions are out, both New York teams defy the odds (and Imran's vehement predictions), and best of all, the Curse is dead, kaput, sayonara. NEVER AGAIN will I have to hear that "Tampa Bay has never won a game under 40 degrees."

And this is not all the Tampa offense is capable of. Just watch when we get Brad Johnson back in two weeks and slam the (hopefully) Driver-less Cheeseheads again, while the hot Giants dispatch first the slumbering Niners and then best Philly in a grudge match which will see the Eagles a bit out of sync with McNabb back.

This is, of course, only what I'd like to see.

          What a perfect weekend.

          • Tampa Bay has never won a game in a major league city against a professional offense when the weather is under 40 degrees. Tampa did nothing on offense tonight, even with all the turnovers the Bears handed them. Unimpressive.

But if that's all it takes to make you feel good about your team, go ahead, take joy in beating the pathetic shell of a team that is the Bears.

My sub-20 prediction on total points was solid, though...

            • Hmmmmm.... Imran was wrong again

And Reismark... I wouldn't be thrilled after watching the Bucks performance tonight. They were awful. You should thank the gods you finished your season against the Bears. Against a real team, it wouldn't have been so easy.

              • Ming: Oh believe me, I'm thanking the gods every half hour for this one. But I'm thrilled because the Curse is finally dead and NO ONE can use it as a mental weapon against my boys ever again. Even if it came against a totally depleted hard-working Chicago Bears team that's better than its record. Then again, the game would not have been as close as it was if Brad was healthy...

Right, now you get to hear how they've never won a game that was under 35 degrees. Or how they've never returned a kickoff for a TD.

And this is not all the Tampa offense is capable of. Just watch when we get Brad Johnson back in two weeks and slam the (hopefully) Driver-less Cheeseheads again,
The packers will slam the falcons; their defense is better than when they met in week 1 (though they had an off day today ). And when they go into TB they'll be looking for revenge and will shut down Warren "Cheap Shot" Sapp and the bucs. Especially if their offense is as anemic as it was tonight.

                  • No Wandstat made bad decision. After NE closed it to within 3 they made 3 pass plays in a row. Ricky Williams was the guy who got them this far and they didn't even use them.

I actually like the Miami Dolphins. And I did like Wandstat until today. Ban him!!!!!!

Fossell only made 1 mistake!! He is solely responsible (well along with Tiki Barber, Kerry Collins, and shockey ) for NYG for making the playoffs. you can't fire him.

Oh well... at least we can chant the Bucs have won only ONE game below 40 degrees .

And there is a good chance Rob, and not Brad, will start in two weeks (fractured back vertebre tend to hurt bad).
