All the good young QBs that have come out lately have been 1st or 2nd round: Chad Pennington (1st), Mike Vick (1st), Drew Brees (early 2nd). Tom Brady is the only one that came out later (and IIRC, he was 3rd round), and it is looking like he might be more of a flash in the pan.

Late round QB steals are diamonds in the rought. No one expects them to start, so it takes a few years before they are 'found'. As I've been saying all along. The Bears need to sign a QUALITY free agent at QB, and then draft a diamond in the rough to learn at the feet of a true master
Any QB we draft in the first round isn't going to be able to start next year anyway.Keep on Civin'
