  • True... but they still might have had a chance for the division crown.

Tom Brady was a 6th round pick. Don't you watch those NFL commercials during the games? They mention Brady specifically.

      ACK!

      • Watch NFL commericals? What are you nuts?!

Ok, so Brady is a 6th rounder, but every other good young QB these days is early rounds.

          What round was Jeff Garcia?
          Brett Favre?
          Rich Gannon?

For every Donovan McNabb, there is a Cade KcNown.

          • I didn't know that Garcia, Farve, and Gannon were considered 'young' QBs nowadays .

They were, when they were younger.

                • Oh, and Farve was drafted in the 2nd round. 33rd overall pick.

Okay, did you actually research that? I know it wasn't on a commercial.

I'm just not that dedicated to this argument.

                        • Of course a lot of good the Falcons did with him! Oy!

Late round QB steals are diamonds in the rought. No one expects them to start, so it takes a few years before they are 'found'. Not something the Bears can afford.

                          • Rich Gannon was drafted by the Pats in 1987 in Round 4, 98th pick overall.

Neither first nor second round, thanks for your help.

                              • As I've been saying all along. The Bears need to sign a QUALITY free agent at QB, and then draft a diamond in the rough to learn at the feet of a true master

Any QB we draft in the first round isn't going to be able to start next year anyway.
