They were the exact same book with the exact same plot, you wacko! Substitute Sorcerer's for Philosoper's in the British version and voila, you get the American version!

I'm frankly fed up with all these people suddenly supporting Southampton and wearing James Beattie T-shirts now we're eighth in the league. Fecking glory hunters - where were you when we were twelfth, eh?

You weren't even singing when we were 11th - how can you not appreciate the rollercoaster ride that is supporting a tedious mid-table Premiership side?

Some things change as they become more popular. For example, a few years ago, I bought a Ja Rule CD. I liked him but then within a year, he had become far more commercial making all those love/sex songs... now all his fans are teenie-bopper girls and I liked him years ago when he was hardcore

                    thanks

My favourite band is Incubus and I don't really mind that they are mainstream and super-popular. However...

Suddenly being all artsy and geeky is cool! What's the deal with that! I was artsy and geeky back when you got picked on for that! Also the style (grungy beatnik style: it's also a sex position) in which I dress is become all cool too... bah!

that does remind me of other things though... the inner-city is like the base of modern culture now and it always ticks me off when everything from clothing styles to slang words quickly spreads into the suburbs and ****. We created those things here and in two years, they're in the mainstream.

In a year or two, yall in the burbs will start hearing people saying "thats the jawn" if something is good and "that **** wings" if it's bad. People will start wearing plain 3X-6XL white tee shirts and dyed black jeans or jeans with what seems like random stitching on the legs. and not to mention the skullies which came out when I was in 7th grade and are probably spreading.

                          thanks

The West Coast... nuff said. But think about it... the rise of Garage Rock, the whole 'emo' thing, people admitting they love computers, a new generation of kids following in the footsteps of Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg. Star Wars and Lord of Rings own all, which use to be for the nerds.

I'd ignore Speer. He seems to live in a world of his own. He also likes Tupac. 'Nuff said.
