Just like you? Going to clubs doesn't work like that, you have delusions to think they do...

If you are outgoing, you can do that.

        No, it's not.

Besides, I managed to make friends with you, that must require some skill...

Depends on what you mean by 'friends'?

Anyway, that question is relevent. I live in a city where I know few people with few social opportunities. You are at university and have plenty. This is why I make the effort to visit people.

I've been to a few house parties in the past couple weeks but every one of those I ended up ditching pretty early because it just wore me out being around so many people.
                    Cool!

I can't stand being in crowded places any more. When I was younger, and in college, it was fun going to these parties, getting drunk, high, and passing out somewhere strange. Now, I don't see the point.

I hate going to malls or anywhere with a lot of people, but this doesn't make me anti-social, it makes me more closterphobic. I also hate all the noise.

Maybe your just older for your years?

I think a few parties in a couple weeks would definitly ware me out.

There is nothing wrong with having a few friends over to drink, smoke, or whatever. Play some video games, watch a movie, etc... Most of my weekends in college were spent do just that. Of course, we were geeks and played a lot of AD&D. This was good, because it presented a mellow atmosphere were you can get to know people more on a one to one basis. Then, when it came to parties, it wasn't that big of deal since you know everyone on a personal level.

Strange houses, with strange ppl can be rather forboding. I have never had a problem since I seem to have a real gift for gab. My only stipulation with going to some is that I can usually get in trouble.

I would say just keep trying. Or, find a social setting that you are more comfortable with than Ragers. Maybe a more mellow social setting would do you better?

Awww, I used to do twice as long and have one of those every week, as well as lectures and practicals...and I still had an abundance of time. So don't tell me that university work takes up all of your time, because I know that is crap. You can't fool someone who has been in the higher education system a lot longer than you have...

The thing you are failing to acknowledge is that there is a ready-made social environment if you chose to utilise it. I do not have that...wait until you leave university to find out what it is like...

There are loads of people wanting to make new friends. Unfortunately you won't find them on top of your monitor or your TV.
