I don't know about most, but certainly her largest and most effective militaries do not ban gays:

    United Kingdom
    Germany
    France
    The Netherlands
    Sweden
    Canada
    Norway
    Denmark
    Ireland
    Belgium
    Austria
    Spain

Other countries such as Italy have no official policy one way or the other, but Italy is restrictive of homosexuals.

most of these armies are decorative.

they dont face any real threat on their borders.

and they ar not the most effective or important.

        in NATO largest armies

Talk of bias from the guy who claims Greece has Europe's most effective military...

I'm not sure about Turkey's numerical amount of troops, but in terms of military expenditure, UK, France, Germany, Italy, and even Spain and the Netherlands outstrip it, the first 3 many times so. These nations have a clear superiority in technology and firepower, at any rate.

Oh, btw, in the second link, you'll note that it also referenced the European Court of Justice forcing Germany to accept women equally into their army, which would also contradict your notion that the EU doesn't have any such jurisdiction. Please provide some support for the assertion they can't, because these verdicts indicate otherwise.

              NATO says it not me.

To the point you are again lost for words it would seem:

Turkey and Greece have the highest % of GDP going to weapons than any other country of NATO.

              Again, misinformed.

So in countries where the army is still the army and not something decorative for far away cozy expenditions gays are out of the equation.

                Oh and in the US.

You again have mixed it up. The EU cannot interfere in matters of national security.

It can't twist the arm of any member state to have gays in the military.
                  That's for sure.

About equality of german women in the army and the allegded implication of the european court of justice, link please? so we can evaluate it?

This is irrelevant. They have much smaller GDPs, so their having a higher percentage of it as their military budget doesn't mean a thing when one is talking military effectiveness and power.

It was mentioned in the second link of one of my posts above. You should have already read it.

                        • It is relevant since we are talking about army importance to each country.

Sure Belgium allows gays in the army (from what you say)

well that's GREAT! Belgium is so much threatened.

We are talking about importance of an army to each country.

And yes Turkey's no gay army is the largest of all NATO members except US.

Also Greece and Turkey have the highest % going to army and their armies still have real uses.

                          and no gays.

I was talking about power and size, not necessarily importance.

If you want to talk about national importance of the army, then let's talk about a country where the army is probably more important than in any other...Israel.

Want to know what their policy is?
