So you plan on losing a lot more gold?
Btw the Heineken cup now pauses until December so any ‘warm-up’ betting will need to be NPC final based or Premiership/French league stuff.
The NPC final is being played on Waikato's home ground - Waikato vs Auckland. Its a close call as Auckland just beat Canterbury by 6 points, and Waikato dominated Otago for most of their semi-final game. I dont think we need a margin for this one.

I'll bet 20 gold on Auckland.

Not quite. I plan more on not letting Finbar set the margins this time.

Are you going to place a bet on the NPC final?

The referee has not commited many faults and has been even in its errors which means he has been rather good.
            Nice description.
I am really relieved Biarritz won. (I had to leave my TV set at 13-17 in the beginning of the second half in order to go and see my mother in law. I was really very happy about it, but my wife wouldn't understand. The fact that I had a nice oeuil au beurre noir and a wounded lip probably didn't help.) I was afraid they were going to ruin their match because they had suffered from a silly try. I wish Biarritz could find a way to be better with their backs. Getting the ball to the wings seems to be such a herculean task sometimes...

I am afraid Castres losing in Italy proves that Castres is really in bad shape, and pleads for less clubs in the European Club rather than anything else.

The problem is far more worrying, Castres has lost at home. A friend of mine and his girlfriend were in the stadium and told me it was awful...

You just finished telling us the ABs would go through 2003 undefeated. Surely it's only a matter of backing them each time? Or was that supreme confidence merely masking massive doubt?

Maybe the way to do it is for the more affluent amongst us to lend to the poverty-stricken with an appropriate interest rate. If the borrower can't meet his repayments, the lender gets to foreclose. It's a system that's buggered the world, why shouldn't it bugger us too?

Ho un ricordo sfocato! Feel free to correct me, Sloth, it's the only way I'll learn.

Actually, my Italian teacher is now back in the country. She disappeared off to Singapore last year with her boyfriend just as I was struggling to learn i pronomi congiuntivi. Her relationship broke up and I couldn't be happier - my Italian lessons are much more important than her personal happiness.

Fair enough. Thus, if logic were to enter the equation, Tamerlin either doesn't need beauty sleep or he's given up on it.

Ah right - so Sailor would be called ‘Kicker’? That kind of thing?
I'd just call him an idiot. He was interviewed about the injury. He said - he thought wittily - that he'd raided Ben Tune's kitbag for his knee medicine. Wendell's a boorish individual with an attitude way beyond his proven abilities.

I wonder why. It has to be more than simply being closer to the rugby-playing areas of Europe.

I could have won a fortune had I bet with my head last time around.

That really is a very, very strange format.

They're showing the NPC and Currie Cup finals live here.

I'll bet 20 gold on Auckland.
Okay, just for fun, I'll have 20 on Waikato. I have absolutely no idea what either team's relative chances are. In the absence of an independent with the knowledge to frame a margin, we'll have to make it straight out win/lose.
