ST. MARCUS--STOP POSTING ANYTHING TO HIM IN MY THREAD.
Agreed. After this latest outburst, even I had enough.
Back on topic: most aren't convinced a war is needed. the military leadership think so, the CIA as well, same goes for half the population, ditto for the rest of the world.
My question is, does it change the opinion of any Americans here supporting the war? Now that our intelligence says Iraq is not a threat to us, should we still invade. Why?
I know Ned is in favor if international interventionalism regardless of threats to national interests or security, but I wonder if others who supported the war can continue to do so now?
I want to also stress that the report believed that a U.S. invasion was likely to trigger his use of biological and chemical weapons, if he has them. Isn't that what we want to avoid in the first place?
Boris, I have to back up Fezman on this. You are becoming more and more Un-American by the day. Keep this up and I will have to report you to the Federal Bureau of Homeland Security. Damn ungratefull pinko's
Within weeks they'll be re-opening the shipyards
And notifying the next of kin
Once again...
Out of interest, do you believe that Iraq has NBC type weapons Boris?

it has been the only thing that has made me rethink the war effort (I don't like war, but I think this one is needed)
now if we see more that he will not be a threat to us or his surrounding nations if he is left on provokes, than I would be against the war

Actually the REAL "Axis of evil" should be Iran-Saudi Arabia-Sudan
But Bush seems to care a lot more about oil than world peace (not that Mr. Clinton and his buddies were better than him huh)
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.
I don't really buy the "this is all about oil" argument that much. If all we really wanted is direct control over oil we'd just take over the Gulf states we already have troops in (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar). Probably only take a few hours and I'm sure we could come up with some kind of proof they support terrorism.

You forgot France, the UK, Pakistan, India, and Israel. Germany and a few other countries have the potential to join this club as well.
You mean like Friends and ER?
No, I don't.

Honestly, we know he has Bio and chem weapons (however, much of his stockpile was destroyed after the gulf war.) But so what? So do a lot of other countries. There is no evidence he has nuclear weapons, I think Ritter is right here.
If we're going to make it our mission to attack any country that has NBCs, shouldn't we start going after the ones that are more threatening to world peace, like Pakistan?
therefore Iraq is more of a danger than Pakistan (who is not officially against us)

No particular reason. It's just that a lot of the people that I talk to around campus believe that Iraq has been disarmed.
I think Ritter is right here.
Which time?
