What bandwagon(s) have I jumped on or off of? I didn't pick the Patriots to win it all...
What part of Vick being a 2nd year QB trying to get the kinks worked out don't you understand?
That kind of performance is inexcusable even for a 2nd-year QB working out kinks - especially for one who's expected to shoulder the load for his team. And your hypocrisy annoys the hell out of me... the Falcons are "working out the kinks" on offense, while the Bucs are trying to master their FOURTH new offensive system in FOUR years and yet after five games against mostly good teams (save Cincy) it's still deemed "horrid". Contradiction in terms, boyo.
And looking over at Oakland, it seems Gruden WASN'T the offensive genius.... it's Bill Callahan.
They said the same thing about Martz - look how that one turned out, hmmm? Bill didn't have to make any changes to the system - Oakland's strides on offense are the result of workable, pre-existing personnel and playing teams with porous defenses (as a result of injuries or otherwise), neither of which Tampa has had the benefit of.
Martin? Your MVP pick?
No, Holmes. Read what I said again.

Mostly good teams?
The five teams you have played are a combined 7-16.
Take away New Orleans(who they lost to) and that drops to 3-15.
Sure, they are good teams....
Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust!
......i support 'Da Bears' more than Brett Fahv-ruh.
Ugh, there...i said it. Too bad I'm at work so I can't watch MNF...

You kinda mentioned it.... the Pats. Most definetly you jumped on that one.

So I guess it was inexcusable when Farve was throwing 10 more picks than TD in his 2nd year, when Montana was getting destroyed in his 2nd year? 2nd Year for QBs is not very good, as history has shown us.

a. What Tuberski said.
b. A QB that has only been in his 2nd year is totally incomparable to a team that has basically been together and has just gone through different offensive systems. Furthermore, the different offensive systems was just different offensive coordinators before this year. They basically ran the same offense for 3 years before this. In fact Offensive coordinator #3 was the understudy to Coordinator #2.
Sorry, doesn't work that way. And plenty of teams have been successful with different coordinators.
You have an offense that has been together for years vs. a QB led by a 2nd year QB. Reaaaly comparable .

Porous defenses against Tampa? Check.
And the offense was Callahan's creation, not Gruden's. I've always thought Gruden was overrated and it seems I'm right.
And yeah, the 1999 St. Louis Rams offense was a result of Martz's genius, not Vermeil's. The offense at Kansas City isn't the same one that was run at St. Louis, if you actually watch the games. The St. Louis offense was Martz all the way.
