Hey weird things happen in disasters.

Think about where the terrorist were and where the passport was found. The terrorists were in the front of the plane. Most of them anyway. Well one was flying the thing. If I remember right the passport was found outside the buildings. At least with one of the planes the nose came out the other side. The fuel was in the wings of course and that mostly stayed in the buildings so its possible that the cockpit wasn't burned and that some things that were within it came through the crash somewhat intact.

Now if the passport was found inside a building that is highly questionable since that is where things burned the most.

It's the first time I see a left-winged conspiration theory
Sadly, this ludicrous conspiration theory* darkens an otherwise pretty interesting article. I especially like it when it says : "Europeans don't disagree with us because they're pacifists. They disagree with us because we're WRONG". You probably know that NO IMORTANT COUNTRY, except the UK, supports the US assault on Iraq. Besides Europe, China and Russia have expressed their "doubts" about an attack, even if they tok part to war against terror.

*I'm not saying the US couldn't kill its own citizens for some goal. Any government could sacrifice some "pawns" for a greater goal, and America is no better than the others. But no country could reasonably do such a big and spectacular sacrifice for such a small advantage (taking control in the Muslim world)

"transparent-as-glass" = it's so obvious, we don't need real evidence.

Actually, I think it's the opposite effect going on around here. Some people just need to believe they know something the other people don't, so they latch into ridiculous conspiracy theories. After all, not only can they feel superior to the 'sheeple' who still cling to foolish notions such as presidential administrations not gambling literally everything to build... well... a pipeline, they might even get those 'sheeple' to believe that the conspiracy-monger knows something no-one else does, too. It's the same with "Hey, Billy-Bob-Bubba, it's sho bin dry heah in North Cowtesticle lately. I've gots some evidence heah provin' it's them UN black hel-i-copters that bin doin' it" as it is with "Check this out, Moonbeam - I've got this radical article that blows away the preconceived notions about how the Shrub maladministration didn't have anything to do with 'The Terror Attack' (or "Artistic Opinion About Western Decadence and Imperialism and Greed" as I and my anarcho-syndicalist commune call it)."

Moonbeam is presently Mayor of Oakland California. He used to be Governor but after eight years in office he tried going for the Presidency. For his failure he was punished. For surely being Mayor Moonbeam of Oakland is akin to Hell on Earth. Not to be confused with Hell in Norway.

All sorts of things "survive" relatively intact - an explosion isn't all fire, there are pockets and currents, etc. IIRC, there were a pair of hands bound together that were found, and in the PSA crash in San Diego in 1978 or thereabouts, three bodies were blown out of the plane and into some poor guy's car, intact enough that originally it was thought they weren't passengers, but casualties on the ground.

There are plenty of examples from "regular" crashes (which are still pretty spectacular impacts) of small objects and even whole suitcases or bodies getting ejected more or less intact.

A lot of small stuff on the leading part of the planes would just go flying as the plane shredded - ahead of the major explosion when the wing and centerline tanks go. Stuff at the rear of the plane would be moving into the explosion and unburned fuel, so anything surviving intact there would be much more suspicious.

Whether "true" or not, it certainly isn't impossible.

This is the big problem, of course. I´ve noticed a worringly low acceptance in the general populace for the truth. I think it´s time for The Great Communist Conspiracy to start a TinFoil Hat campaign.

The Giant Invisible Orbiting Aardvark is not likely to be worried based on previous efforts to avoid its control. In the fifties lasers were not yet available for mind control so radio was beamed into people's heads. Sometimes this would be picked up audibly by fillings in people's teath so it was not ideal but that was all that the GIOA had to work with at the time. It must work through its human minions. Since aircraft were notorious for causing radio interference a simple idea for defense was tried by the few that feared the GIOA.

Fortunatly for the Pentium Group propeller beanies never caught on.

This passport was found the day after the attacks.

I don't think there was a conspiracy by the president or his administration to harm the US with these attacks. What I see is a great deal of opportunism by this administration to exploit these attacks to further their own ends, oil in central Asia, and to cover their own ends for their hubris which led to the atrocity. The president was briefed in August 2001 about a possible hijacking by Osama and company, but for whatever reason, he and his administration failed to act on the information.

This administration's callous exploitation of these atrocities is what I am upset about. Quite a few of the hijackers were Saudi Arabians, but we didn't bomb them. So I have to ask myself why we singled out Afghanistan? The answer that I come up with is always the same: oil.

That is a very odd answer considering that Al Queda was training people in Afganistan and finding santuary there. Your thinking is the same as many used in the Viet Nam War to denigrate the US's motives there. There is still no oil comeing from Viet Nam. Just some exploration of possible off shore fields, something that could not be done in a war zone.

I think no one is going to insure a pipeline through Afgansitan in the near future. The place has been a war zone for decades.
