I agree with you. It might be a bit impossible to make them realize it was not Israel . And I think they use everything they can to keep people against Israel and not make friends with them. Which is sad..

So I must take some words back.. My point was going to the wrong way. For the arabs it would be easy to show 'evidence' and motivation that Israel did it. Then you'd have to think they're really evil bastards, but that's what they think anyway.. So you must admit that it would be easy for them to blame Israel?
So there should be lots of evidence shown to the public, if it's 100% waterproof. Because they have seen 'evidence' themselves.. We've seen that tape.. Agh I can't explain this. But point being if I was arab leader, I could show 'evidence' to the people and make them believe it was Israel. In da butt.

pretty much so.. this is becoming philosofical and threadjacking. I can't even remember if I had a point in the first place, except that I don't believe Israel was behind it. Why did I even bring OBL to this? Heaven knows. In da butt.

Firstly, to the "why is no one in Islamic states clearing up this myth" type questions...Al-Jazeera (the TV station) has videoed confessions from two of Osama's sidekicks...so they are clearing this up. As to whether anyone bothers to believe them...people in the US (and elsewhere) still think we didn't go to the moon.

I can't beleive that Israel is behind the attacks. What I can beleive is that they withheld information from the US that may have helped prevent the tragedy. Not that I think that's what happened, I have no proof and no one here on this board has any real proof of hardly anything. All we have to go on is what the media tells us. Can they tell us everything? No. Will they tell us everything? No. At some point, we have to decide whether we trust what our government is telling us. Do I? I'm not sure. Is Iraq a threat? I have no idea. And neither do any of you. Truly, the only people who know are Saddam Hussein and his close advisors.
Do I think that Muslim extremists want to see the world subjugated under some kind of Taliban-like regime? No. They've only ever lashed out at nations involved in their affairs which would be Europe and the US. They use their religion as a recruiting tool. "Fight the infidel and join with us. Praise be to Allah." The fact that the population is poor and uneducated makes it easy to lure people away by blaming a scapegoat, the US. I'm not talking about people who wave signs or protest US involvement, I'm talking about the people who would get on a passenger plane and ram into a very large building full of people.
