    Nice post JohnT.

I'm a capitalist in some things and a socialist in others (though not in what most people here are).

There are many other things that can change your personality besides marriage and kids. Many people just wake up one day and have revelations.

Well the government gives wealth equally to everybody. But those who make a bit more than those who can't are punished brutally in the most savage manner. I am against that system. I am for you keep what you earn (legiminately) and the laws remain enforced. You should not have your wealth so brutally removed to feed the laziness of communists. They should work and make a living, and then maybe progress will be made.

Very true Apoc, I actually used to be a typical conservative republican, though over time I took a closer look at the teachings of Christ and Marx and have since become a devout socialist.

I no longer have the energy to argue about what system is better... because I already know.

monkspider is funny. He truely believes he won't change. I mean look at some older commies (what older commies ). They still believe in the ideals, but also realize they have to live paycheck to paycheck, and can't fly around to protests and whatnot.

No, but I have had enough arguing with Fezzie for the day. In short, Communism is the penetration of democracy into all forms of life. It treats people as actual human beings rather than cogs in a machine or beasts of burden. It attempts to rectify the immense differences of wealth distribution in society (where 10% control 90% of the wealth) with a more just model (where people are payed what they truly earn, rather than what some greedy capitalist arbitarily wants to pay them). It has some minor flaws to be worked out, but infinitely less than the grotesque evils of capitalism.
I urge you to read up more on communism and eventually join us (the good guys!) one of these days Kray! Just remember, Jesus was a socialist!

                          Hehehehe... 'minor' flaws

And yes, I've read tons on Communism, and I'll never consider myself one. I'm a capitalist, through and through. The best system ever to come out of history.

                            Communism isn't democracy.

It throws people in desperation. It ruins lives.

Communism is wrong and idiotic. It violates every law of economics. It doesn't follow a clear economic system. And is against economic producivity. It wants to imprison the people and throw them in poverty.

                            Communists are the bad guys.

Join my liberation movement against this fungus. The Conservative Capitalists.

Well, I have never really shared this with the board, but I plan on having a career in politics. That is why I spoke with such confidence. I probably won't be able to make it to as many protests when my back starts giving out and I have a bunch of youngins to watch over though, so there is definite truth in what you say.

Monkspider: I also plan to go into politics. Consider me your opponent. I am not going to back away from the people, I am going to embrace the system that works.

And maybe when you get older you will grow up.
