Don't plan on going far in politics, unless you 'sell out' a bit. People aren't fond of voting for communists or socialists.

And even if you make it as a Congressional Aide or whatnot, you'll see the radicalism faaaadddeeee away.

JohnT isn't just speaking from personal experience, it is generally acknowledged that people are most radical in their 20s and slowly retreat from that as they grow older.
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
    - John 13:34-35 (NRSV)

Let's all start movements. I'd call mine the socialist libertarians or libertarian socialists, but that sounds too much like anarchists which is not what I'm going for.

I am not the one with the arbitrary illogical system... so that comment was directed at you...

And Imran is right, I probably will steer towards more the center-right when I get older. Can't go into the center or the left because I don't think like that.

Well, it would make sense that I would tone down the Commie rhetoric in later years (while not nescarrilly losing my empathy for the downtrodden) simply speaking from the statistics. But my Commie beliefs are closely intertwined with my religious beleifs, so I don't think I will ever totally lose my Commie core.
As far as having to tone things down for the masses, I have faith in God that I will be able to carry his message as far as possible, despite the odds against me. So perhaps, compromising a few things will no doubt occur, but I still have faith that I can make a good foundation for future like-minded persons

Imran said you would become less radical, not more.

You do not know how you will think like too. That is one of the points of John's posts. Things change.

Apoc, I know that and I know what he said. I will become less radical, if you consider me radical at all. I am just defending the system that works for the people, capitalism.

I probably will stay on the center-right though... that I am sure of...

Yep, Apoc, things change, and as people grow older they move to the middle. Why? Because you have a wife and kids and you have to think of them first. You have to think what is best for your family, and everything else can wait.

How can you be sure of that? People can change drastically. I myself have through little fault of my own.

You can trust me I will never turn to the left. Sorry. Quite trying to suggest that.

Well you probably aren't going to have kids, same with me. Fez shouldn't have kids...

Anyway, I was just references how Fez was agreeing with you but saying he would go away from the middle.

And why not? I probably won't anyways, but why not?

WRONG. I said I was probably going to move towards the middle, but stay on the right. That is the most common case and that is what is likely to happen. And where the hell did I say I was going to move away from the middle? I am probably go towards it but not all the way and stay on the center-right.

There are many things in life that you have no control over. Some people have to change to survive. You may not change, but there is no guarantee.

Well for Fez, center-right is more middle than he is now. Then again, seeing as his political affiliation is 'confused', who knows where that is.

Though I wouldn't be suprised to see him as center-left in the future.

I will repeat once more, I will not move towards the left. And that is 100% guaranteed! Don't try to discuss it with me because that is final.
