doesn't matter who you end up with, as long as you actually like the person.

so, since there are 6 billion people in the world, lor, you've just enabled yourself to have much better odds for having the right person in your life. good luck.

I hate to revive this thread, and apologies if anyone's offended, but I'm curious. When did those who were gay realize it?

That is probably the most difficult question one can ask. Me for example, well I am one confused kid so I wouldn't know.

Faeelin, I realized I was gay when I was 20, but, looking back in my junior high school years, I realize I had a physical attraction for a 28 year old PE teacher.

Ah. I'm curious, because a friend of mine claims to be gay, and I'm arguing that he might be, since he claims he's known ever since he hit puberty, but I believe at age 16, it's a bit early to tell. Although the fact that he claims to have never, ever been turned on by a girl is pretty convincing.

Some people are ready to figure who they are at such a young age... I started at 15 or 16 questioning myself and still am.

A bit early to tell? Doesn't that mean that it's a bit early for sixteen year olds to know they are straight as well?

It is best to leave questions unanswered.

I started looking at other guys I found attractive at 15 or 16.... but I remained confused...

Actually, that's the impression that people have given so far in this thread.

I'm confused, too. But I'm more unsure that I'm straight than I've ever been before. It's all about getting past what society does to you. I realized a little while ago that when I started thinking about men in sexual ways, I made a conscious effort to stop myself. I told myself, "Lori you're straight! You're not supposed to think about men that way!" And now I've stopped myself from doing that. It's amazing what you see when you open your eyes.

It's also quite amazing to see the difference in our personalities between threads...

Lorizael, you gotta be kidding? I did the exact same thing... I told myself "I am straight not gay" over and over again....

I'm a regular CFCer, and I've just been noting how many sexuality threads there are over here...that, and a lot more openly gay/bi posters.

It's kind of refreshing, in a way .
