      No one is forcing you to accept anything, simply asking not to punish anyone for what they do in their bedrooms. Such laws are draconian and anti-freedom. Perhaps you don't mind laws that impinge on the ability of people to having the loving relationships they want, but that only speaks volumes about your own lack of character and good judgment.

      And there's nothing counterproductive about gay sex. It doesn't impede the production of anything. It may not be "reproductive," but "counterproductive" certainly doesn't apply. I happen to find it quite productive...

            Um. First of all, I fully support you and your religious beliefs. Everyone has a right to that.

            I just don't appreciate it when you pass laws to make everyone follow your "morals".

            When a modern country passes a law banning religion, and actively discriminates against religious people in every day life, you'll have a point.

                  Comparing blacks to gays is fallacious. You can't do anything about being black (unless you're Michael Jackson). You can choose not to have homosexual sex, which in turn makes you not a homosexual. If you have sex with people of the opposite sex, it doesn't matter what you think, you are heterosexual. You are defined by your actions, not by your thoughts.

                  I think it is fine if some states want homosexuality to be 100% legal and allow marriages and everything, so long as it's okay for other states to make it completely illegal and force people who practice it in their states to leave and go to a state where it is legal.

                      You have a totally misguided definition of homosexual. I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and say you chose to define homosexual as the act of engaging in homosexual sex because that way you aren't "evil" for having attraction to men (you stated you had the choice of having sex with them -- straight men wouldn't agree).

                          What bulls**t. Homosexuals do not have a choice in their sexuality. The concept of sleeping with a woman may be as unappealing to them as sleeping with a man is to you. Why should people live a lie? This invariably leads to unhappiness, discontentment and depression, in severe forms. No one should be expected to live a lie, that is the only fact of this situation.

                          I think it is fine if some states want homosexuality to be 100% legal and allow marriages and everything, so long as it's okay for other states to make it completely illegal and force people who practice it in their states to leave and go to a state where it is legal.
                          No, it's not fine at all. It should be the right of every man to express his sexuality free from persecution. Just like it is the right of the black man to have equal rights to the white man, the same should be true of gay and straight, no matter where in the US, or for that matter, the world they live. It is no one else's decision, and no authority has the right to decide the course of their life for them!

                            You are being a complete idiot. Now did choose to be so, or were you born that way?

                            Since you're not homosexual (well, I wonder, but we'll say that is the case), you can't say a damn thing about whether or not a gay can choose to be so. Homosexuality is NOT defined by the sex act, it is defined by the attraction towards the same sex. The definition you are using is a fictional one you have made up in your head to somehow (weakly) rationalize your absurd beliefs.

                              And if they are a Christian, but struggle with their homosexuality, I think they will still go to heaven.
