  • And so on page5, the pissing match begins. I assume, Marky, that you enjoy goading Fez because next to his emotional responses, your trolls almost look intelligent.

The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.

BAH! Another flamer. Would you stop throwing crap at me and saying I am an idiot? Marcus doesn't know what he is talking about and is biased to hell.

        • Hey bam, the unemployment is 9% according to a recent report.

Holland doesn't have that at all. 2.6%? 90% of them are probably working on the state sector... keep it up and you will end up like Argentina.
Funny. I got those facts from the CIA. And you being so pro America, I'm sure you consider it a good source.

No post your facts giani-boy. You say Holland is crap, and Spain is great, then you say Holland doesn't have "all that", and yet you post no facts to back up your claims? Too brainwashed by reading books on Franco?

I assume, Marky, that you enjoy goading Fez because next to his emotional responses, your trolls almost look intelligent.
Oh you bet! Giani is the easiest person on poly to provoke, and once provoked, he's also the most hilarous poster on the board.

I consider El Pais a better source. That is where it said the unemployment has fallen to single digits.

Blah blah blah. More troll talk. .5 out of 10.

1 out of 10. Sorry I couldn't give you anymore. Civnation makes his trolls better than you!

            • Now back up your claim that Holland doesn't have:

GDP - real growth rate: 4% (2000 est.)
GDP - per capita: purchasing power parity - $24,400 (2000 est.)
Inflation rate (consumer prices): 2.6% (2000 est.)
              Unemployment rate: 2.6% (2000 est.)
              Debt - external: $0

Even The Economist stated that Holland has one of the best records to fight unemployement in the world.

anyway, judging from the facts, people in Holland are richer, there are less people unemployed, there's more economic growth, less inflation and a far smaller national debt than in Spain. Please try to disprove this.

              • I was just poking fun at you. I don't care about your country. Fight unemployment? Hmmm... big state sector like Sweden. Sweden is going to end up like Argentina in ten years because it taxes its citizens way too much.

There isn't more economic growth. And that stat for the debt is from 1993 for Spain.

                  • I lived in to two countries that squandered their money at a massive state sector. One I currently am in. The government spent, spent, spent and now needs to lay off 500,000 state workers. I wonder how that is going to happen?

                    • Our public sector isn't that large. In fact, in a lot of public sectors there are too few people and more are needed.

Also, tax rates have been going down and keep on going down.

Okay fine. In Spain the taxes have also been going down especially under the rule of the PP.

There will be problems in Sweden and Norway where the State sector is massive. Argentina repeats in ten years. The government starves the private sector of money to pay for its state sector. Oops.

                        • So you are comparing Argentina with Holland?

GDP - real growth rate: 0.8% (2000 est.)
GDP - per capita: purchasing power parity - $12,900 (2000 est.)
Inflation rate (consumer prices): -0.9% (2000 est.)
                          Unemployment rate: 15% (December 2000)
                          Debt - external: $154 billion (2000 est.)

No I wasn't. I was just drifting off topic about how bad large state sectors are....

Anyways it isn't that way anymore.

Divide: $12,900/3.5 now. The peso has devalued to 3.5 since it was taken off convertibility (I think it was) And the debt is essentially triple.
