The problem with this case is that:
1. The media is making it a race issue
I've seen worse happen on COPS to white people, yet where's the outcry?
2. You are only seeing one side of the issue
The TV media is completely sensationalizing this issue. According to reliable newspaper sources which REPORT news and don't SENSATIONALIZE news... the 16 year old youth was combative and lunged at officers before the camera started rolling. The officer in question had a 4 inch gash behind his ear from a punch the kid threw.
Was the slam into the car a violation of brutality laws? Yes!
Should the cop be punished? Yes!
Was the kid a complete victim? No!
Is this a race issue? No!
