      • Vlad: All creatures within 60 ft who can see (all creatures but Ogre 4) suffer a -4 penalty to attack and -2 to Dexterity for 2d10 rounds.

Next round I'll sic my sword on the monsters and cast Monster Summoning VII, after which I'll pick them off with my longbow.

                • Patashu's spell description is the updated one, I think. (I need to find an updated priest spell manual online somewhere.)

                        • Well, you're 5th-level, so it's around 1/5 of your HP. If you got really good HP rolls and have a high Constitution rating, it may be as little as 1/8 of your HP, actually. 40 hp for a 5th-level warrior-type seems average, though I would allow for some deviation within 10 hp.

                          • Meh, if he rolled 1 less on the summoning roll, it'd be 10-headed. The manual has stats for hydras of up to 12 heads. Dunno what they do for hydras with more heads than that...

                              • Well, it's only if the ogre resists. If it didn't, it'd only be 2 dmg/turn.
