    • The trick is to pick a race that most people won't immediately recognize. I probably wouldn't have gotten away with being an Elder Gold Dragon, f'rinstance.

      • Bah, and I'm just a pantsy elf. Would be careful that Vlad won't suddenly give you some disadvantadges to make up for it though.

*suddenly, a trap that Imran didn't see springs and cuts off Loinburger's left arm.*

And then there's the ever dangerous. Rocks fall down, everybodyy dies.

        • Oh sure, Vlad could be a cheater DM. I've had one of those before (the only time I actually played D&D, actually, was with a cheater DM who didn't even bother rolling dice, but who instead would arbitrarily decide that you've had your head cut off or something). Regardless, it won't be so easy as springing a trap on me or even having an invisible monster eat my brains, since I've got Detect Traps and Snares as well as See Invisible always active.

          • It's because of you we have to fight a death knight.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

                  • Damn, I'm facing grave technical difficulties. My desk chair went to pieces under me. I almost hurt myself. (Imagine that, a Death Knight -killing Paladin getting hurt by a chair... )

It's not my fault, I don't think Vlad suspected any foul play on my part until I kept casting 7th+ level spells, which wasn't until after the DK attacked us. Imagine how tough that battle would have been without my +5 Dancing Vorpal Greatsword hacking away at that DK, not to mention how much of a pain it would be if I weren't around to restore and resurrect everybody afterwards.

                              Yeah, that's why I decided that I probably shouldn't be a Lich.
