About halfway through the corridor, we notice an ogre appearing in the corridor behind you. It's following you.

Imran:

After sighting the ogre, you take another look at the door. It now says, "No, Imran, you still can't open this door. Not even if there's an ogre approaching fast. Everyone else is free to, though... including anything on the other side of this door."

As you finish reading the inscription, the door opens. You see a room similar to the fork we were just in, only there are now seven corridors leading out of it. Also in this room: a person that looks a heck of a lot like you. Looking around, you see that the way you came disappeared.

What do you do?

"It's just an ogre." I attack.

Ogres. Ogres is bad. Chegitz, let's see what it's up to. If it takes out a weapon, it's hack and slash time.

By the way, methinks that person looking like me is prolly a mirror.

Cripes. My alignment really doesn't cope with attacking people for no apparent reason, chegitz.

It's a very real ogre, with a very real two-handed bastard sword drawn in its right hand, a very real full-body shield in its left hand, and wearing very real full plate.

Kass: That was addressed to Imran, and it's not a mirror, it's a clone.

I join Che in fighting the ogre, using my sling (can I have a sling) to throw stones at his head.

Since you never stated what your weapon was earlier, sure.

Oh, I see. Then I'll just ignore the damn thing and help chegitz out with the ogre. I'll figure out something if the Paladin supervisors get pissed.

Rand, I presume, is throwing stones at the ogre. I'd say a fair amount of damage is 1d3. Thac0 (yours) is 18, so... you miss.

The ogre attacks Kass, since he's the closest target. *rolls* He hits. That's 2d4+11... ouch, 18 damage!

Kass: I presume you attack with your 2H sword. That's Thac0 of 13... you hit! 12 damage.

Che: I assume you use a longsword, so your thac0 is around 15. You miss.

And Rand... the ogre just APPEARED.

Well, detecting evil just after he appeared. Ah, moot point now. Good or evil, he'll be dead.

I cast heal minor wounds on Kass (I presume that's the best I have? What level am I anyway?)

5th-level, so you'd have access to Cure Light, Cure Moderate and Cure Serious Wounds.
