They might be able to, but not until they're pretty high level. Resurrect is a pretty high level spell, IIRC.

Raise dead is baaaaad. I checked a Paladin netbook I downloaded; no Resurrection spells listed in the Clerical Spells part, and to do Clerical Spells you need a level 9 Paladin.Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test.
