I forget what it's called, but there is an organization based on the progressive wing of the Democratic Party. It's got a lot of celebrity membership, and it's probably more of a fund-raising thing that an activist group. Hell, in all my years of activism, I have never encountered a straight democratic organization, just a few lefty groups that were hanging on the Dem's cout tails, like the Rainbow Coalition (which despite Jesse Jackson was largely run by the Freedom Road Socialist Organization - softcore Maoists).
