Communist China is on the verge of collapse and the current social order in the country is collapsing. the workers are rising against the dicatators. and while tensions between India and pakistan are cooling off. I bet you 20 bucks they will be at each others throats 3 months from now.One day it will boil over and the whole region is in flames.

Typical ignorant response. I suggest you read up on your history. Have you seen the US dictate to china or india anytime recently? More like china has already started dictating policy to the US there are numerous examples where they said you do this or you can't have access to this market, and as china's trade/economic power increases they will do so more and more.

Ya rambus is in major **** today. LOL Well at least the shorts are making money. I have seen so much crap in the markets, the real cons are the bankers and the brokers. They steal hundreds of millions and they never get caught. Sure every now and then one or 2 go to jail for a year or 2 and when they get out they take their hundreds of millions and retire.. Who said crime doesn't pay.

Not only that, markus, but the hundreds of millions of $$$ these guys are stealing aren't just company profits and investors' money, it's yours and mine. The U.S. government gives $billions in corporate welfare to these companies, and they turn around and give all the money to their executives while laying off workers and sending the companies into tailspins. They're stealing OUR money. Shouldn't conservatives be against this, too? Why is welfare needed for CEOs?

china was effected when the asian markets crashed. I suggest you look into the construction/infustructure boom in china. Also i don't see the USA saying ANYTHING at all about taiwan... i wonder why. I doubt china will say much about taiwan until the current president in waiting takes over in the next little while.

"America's economic decline has been going on for decades and if anything sped up during the 1990's."

Yes, on a comparative basis. But this should be welcomed by all Americans. It just means that the United States isn't carrying as much of the load that it once was.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

maybe cause in 96 when china shot missiles and we sent 4 carrier groups they realized how seroiuis we were. thats why they stopped. I also find it funny how we got our spy plane back and China was condemned for using force.

taiwan until the current president in waiting takes over in the next little while.
its a tradition since mao for every chinese president to threaten to attack tiawan. Note: Not one had the balls to do it. look it up

Ya thats why i just short. The whole finacial system is the states is just one massive scam. The underwriters get a huge chunk of stock, the company puts out some bs releases the stock shoots up and the distribution of the shares starts. When they sold enough stock they tank the share price and load up and shares and repeat the process. Whenever you see an anal yst promoting a stock on tv its usually in the pump phase.. So just short the stock and look at it a month later lol.

It's fun to charter an accountant
                              And sail the wide accountancy,
To find, explore the funds offshore
And skirt the shoals of bankruptcy!

It can be manly in insurance.
                              We'll up your premium semi-annually.
                              It's all tax deductible.
                              We're fairly incorruptible,
We're sailing on the wide accountancy!
