They argue for family values, and insist that society needs to reaffirm those family values.

Actually its not. They have a rather different idea of family values than you do. It means one father(male) one mother(female) married (two each other) and kids including adult children.
I would guess that the Family Value Types would insist you can only be in the adult offspring category. Which is consistent with there thinking.
The inconsistancy is when BribeTaker Newt pushes family values AND hands his wife divorce papers while she is in the hospital with what could have been terminal cancer. Now THATS inconsistant.Comment
