Really? Our lot seem to be doing rather well by playing like Italians .

I think you forgot to put a much needed "h" after the W in your handle.

Oh come on... if you had read his entire post, you will see that he doesn't blame the loss on the officiating... he puts the blame where it belongs... with the style of play...

One could also add a certain consonant at the end of "Shi"...

              Good point...

However, Shi Huangdi was nailing him for his referee comment

                No.
                Not about the team.
I'm just saying that with so many good players... and so many offensive power (Vieri, Del Piero, Totti, Montella, Inzaghi, Doni etc..) playing so much defensively is a shame.

I'm "whining" about the Coach. (read my signature)

What? I thought they only allowed judges from neutral countries in the finals just for that reason... This sucks

                  Love your new handle btw

Neutral countries? Ecuador weren't involved in the match...

Don't whine about the coach. He's given the most famous interview of all coaches ever working in Germany.
                      .. Flaschen leer ...
.. Struuuunz ... (probably not because he played much worse than the others but because his name is so close to stronzo)
                      ... ich habe fertig.
Why doing it the easy way if it is possible to do it complicated?

I´m not so sure they would have scored on the offside goal. The goalie heard the whistle and stopped playing. He could well have stopped the Italian (was it Vieri) if there hadn´t been an offside call.

Hehe... The whole game I was thinking to myself, come on Totti, get that red card, when it finally happened I cheered

I watched the whole think from an Irish pub in Brussels
88th minute: I jump up and cheer. 3+ dozen Italians are staring at the screen wiht this "What the ****?" look on their faces, I sit back down quickly.

And the second Italian "goal" was clearly illegal. (Unlike the 2 against Croatia.)

(OK, so it helps that I really wanted Korea to win).

                              Lol @ Prometheus

Italy only beat Romania in 2000 in Euro Championship, and this year in the qualifiers for the world cup, but I'm not bitter

Nah, I just really want Korea to win (It's so much easier not having to root for your own country you can pick one to root for).

                              Right now:

                              1. S. Korea
                              2. England
                              3. Deutschland.

I think after the next round, only Deutschland will be around, so then I will have clear loyalties Deutschland will win because they are Deutschland (you would have to have had my German teacher to get that).

In effetti 5 gol annulati sono molti, pero`........
                                BASTA......
col difensivismo, se avessimo giocato piu` improntati all' attacco ne avremo segnati altri 10 (di cui altri 5 annulati )
