    I know this ain't true , but still ...
Last I heard, Christianity outweighed Islam 2-to-1 (RCC tallies 1 billion members)

More proof that the religion of Islam is a hate breeding collection of terrorists.
Well, at times it seems that way. How many Christians are crashing planes into buildings in NYC, blowing up Apartment Buildings in Moscow, and gunning down children in Israel?

All the big terrorist events of our time were the result of people being raised to hate under the aegis of "Islam".

I mentioned leftbehind.com in my OP, right? A few years back they kicked out a bunch of posters (I was one of them ) that also attended the Straightdope.com messageboard. Apperently, some of the more zealous posters complained to the admin about us for making postings in the Socratic method. And the whole using Logic Thing.

Rwanda is almost entirely Catholic, and the first two Rwandans brought to trial for genocide were nuns...

            • Out of a nearly a billion Catholics? Muslims number somewhere around, perhaps over one billion if I remember correctly in terms of population. And look how many more Muslims can be identified as terrorists. Compare those as fractions and see how much more likely it is for a Catholic and/or Christian to be a terrorist readily. I am not saying there are not extremist Christians or anything, but Christianity has not wholeheartedly waged a crusade in hundreds of years.

Plus the Rwanda situation got tied up in tribal disputes and grudges between Hutus and Tutsis, so I think it was more of the individuals actions who earned those charges. And yes since they were nuns they should not have done this. But the Roman Catholic Church doesn't always pick winners when it comes to good and wholesome characters, as shown by the present and past troubles highlighted in the news lately.

              • My attempted registration, "The Hand of Justice", appears not to have been activated yet. I would have expected it to by now.

Well, I'll try "Ali From Cairo". Not only is that a Muslim-sounding member name, it's also a hidden barb to fundamentalism, a reference as it is to everyone's favorite satanic collectible card game Magic: The Gathering.

It gives me a new appreciation for Attorney General John Ashcroft's policy of locking up anyone with a funny sounding name.

                  • If they hate the United States so much, why are so many of them living there? It does seems hypocritical. Theres a lot to be said for deporting these people, they don't exactly contribute much to society besides hate.

                    • Their strategy is to have a large family, spread across the world, and eventually outnumber non-Muslims. They are making the act of procreation into an arms race.

                        • Yeah they want to be called Americans yet want the right to be anti-American in the most pure sense. It seems like Islam is still too much into broad indoctrination and brainwashing people into being extremists.

Yeah Sava that is the one ultimate goal they seem to be aiming for, especially with help from philosophers on the left usually. These people push for a one world system with everyone getting a vote, and by manipulating the numbers of muslims they figure that if they work towards that they can create a pan-Islamic society throughout the world. When a vote comes up calling for the establishment of Islam as the world's religion and a grand caliphate set up from somewhere probably in the Middle East, all the muslim clerics would tell their followers to vote for the passage of it. And there you have it, Western humanism giving ascendancy to brutal Islamic hegemony.

This sort of revisionist view of the Christian involvement in the Rwandan genocide can and often is applied to Islamic involvement in terrorism. I make no claims as to the responsibility of the larger Christian or Muslim communities in the actions of the few. 800 000 people died in 3 bloody months of genocide in Rwanda. Want to make some sort of bet as to how many have been killed by Islamic terrorists in the last 30 years? It won't add up to 1% of that. Some of the comments made on this thread betray a bigoted view of Islam, and those who make them might want to look closer to home first...
