    BC3K.

So nobody thought it was great. That probably still makes it the most overrated game in the history of computer gaming.

        I completely agree Adalbertus.

As there was no demo for CtP2, I downloaded a copy. Naughty I know but I am glad I did, I found it tedious, pointless and boring. Needless to say, I deleted that game and didn't buy it. It would have been £30 down the sh*tter if I had bought it. Never again.

Er, Sandman, it was meant to be ludicrous? RTS is hardly the epitome of realism, is it?
Well, my point is that it was a step backwards from C&C. I at least like a nod towards realism, where possible.

indeed, although i found diablo wildly addictive, it remains a pointless clicking exercise, with the only strategy found in the alternating of the left and right mouse buttons.

The Sims. It got really pointless after a while.
Black and White. All I can remember thinking after trying it was: What the heck was that?!
                  Civ3. Nuff said.

Diablo 2 is a lot of clicking, but I like it for the mindless fun.

Black & White is probably right. It was like Episode I, super-hyped up and all you get is some retarded huminoid beast that you can't understand.

Honorable mention to Red Alert. The two sides were ridiculously unbalanced, and it only got worse with the expansions.

I could routinely crush any friend being the Allies in Red Alert. But not being the soviets. Because the Allies were great in defence, you can easily outbuild the amount of Mammoth Tanks the enemy builds with defensive buidings. And you can use ships as additional defensive units.

Are you serious? It redifined the whole RPG genre. Not always for the best, but it did.

Everquest... half life itself is lame, but the user mods are some of the vbest games... DoD and counterstrike (before 1.4) are two of the best games out there
