Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
hehe I think only the ms symbol fonts can work in greek universally
(you can of course download greek fonts from a greek site or get a greek PC )
O ilios anafainetai...
anafenetai is a quite old word (not used much anymore) and certaintly a poetic one too
I took ancient greek classes, not modern one
(and that's why I used a eta rather than a iota for "ilios" )
Tsch, greek, arab and cyrillic fonts should be included, could be fun
Science without conscience is the doom of the soul.
1. Either ally with Canada or Mexico (Canada would be more likely) where all the European countries can group and attack from, and perhaps ally with Cuba for additonal Air and Naval base purposes.
2. Take control of the Panama Canal, Drake Passage, and set up some Naval garrisons in the Canadian Arctic.
If the above conditions are met, the EU already has the war half won, and they can essentially starve the US, and using their larger military numbers to take it apart piece by piece, the war's pretty much over.
For a QUICK war: Get China or Japan (preferrably Japan, for Naval purposes, tho China's more likely) to attack on the Western coast. With the Panama Canal taken, and the US military occupied with the North (canada), East (atlantic ocean), and South East (Cuba), it's pretty much the end for the US.
For the United States invading Europe, their best moves would be:
1. Not
2. Staying far away from the Ukraine and Mother Russia, as then they would surely be pounded into the ground.
The two real political parties in America are the Winners and the Losers. The people don't acknowledge this. They claim membership in two imaginary parties, the Republicans and the Democrats, instead." - Kurt Vonnegut Jr. My (crappy) LiveJournal
You guys have no idea what you're talking about if you think even the whole world could beat/invade the US in the Western hemisphere. You're just spouting off with no knowledge of how military ops work, or any comprehension of tactics, logistics, or warfare in general.
How would I invade either of them? Well, with overwhelming force, duh.
--"What does an "easier time" constitute? My point is that separate command centres would prolong the campaign US would have to carry out."
Having multiple, but uncoordinated, centers of opposition would make the campaign much shorter. There would be more targets, yes, but they could be handled piecemeal. All you'd have to do is keep holding/containment actions against all but one of the groups, and use the majority of your force against the exception. Rinse and repeat. In the end this would be much quicker than fighting against a monolithic command structure (as long as it has some idea of what it's doing).

The problem with the easy way out is that it's already been mined
1. Establish naval supremacy, particularly in Atlantic.
2. Cut EU off from oil supplies and access to rest of world.
3. Establish bases in Morocco.
4. Establish air supremacy.
5. Bomb EU into submission.
6. If they don't quit, invade through Spain.
In other words, pretty much a repeat of WWII, but without England as a launching pad. Airpower would again be decisive.
