Ecthelion, you should make an html "Apolyton Yearbook", with all our pictures and descriptions."It woulda been nice to have naked midgets serving us cocktails everyday." - Brandon Boyd of Incubus

My screenname before was technophile, which was just sort of the first thing that popped into my head when I delurked. I think I was posting on the Technology thread on the CivIII Suggestions forum, so it seemed appropriate; I also played as Zakharov most often in SMAc, so again, it seemed appropriate.
I changed to loinburger because I got tired of technophile, and had also taken to using loinburger elsewhere (like in TFC, or when playing Drunken Timesplitters). A loinburger is the name that Alfie's Inn (in Glen Ellyn, IL) gives to its hamburgers."The great rule of conduct for us in regard to foreign nations is to have with them as little political connection as possible... It is our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliances with any portion of the foreign world, so far as we are now at liberty to do it." George Washington- September 19, 1796

i was planning on starting a new Apolyton yearbook (in html, much easier to work with and to view) soon. Could possibly include voices. I'd like to wait until the end of May, when finals are behind me and I have the summer to do it.
Shall I start a thread?"Chegitz, still angry about the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991?

I used to use the name "Lazarus and the Gimp" here (and still do on most other forums I use, unless I'm being "White Dog" or "Voice of Occupied Europe".
People kept asking me what it meant. I decided to try thinking of a name that was simultaneously so obvious and belligerant that no-one would question me on it.

Dalgetti was a scottish knight from a book I don't remember now. I found the nick pretty cool and used it in RPGs and stuff.
it's still here , AND ON ICQ .....
a little song in russian about Dalgetti the knight:
Shotlandskij paren' Dalgetti
Poehal v |r-Riyad.
Ot sputnikov otstal v puti,
Peski krugom lezhat.
Ustal idti, ustal idti!
Gde vzyat' glotok vina?
A zhdet tebya, moj Dalgetti,
Sultanova zhena...
