my original screenname, kyller, was a play on my real name (kyle). Ixnay comes from the 4th Offspring album, Ixnay on the Hombre, and it just sounds damn cool (the avatar is off the Conspiracy of One album cover). The 37 came when I was signing up for a hotmail account back with kyller (kyller's 1 thru 36 were apparently taken) and it's stuck ever since.

contrary to popular belief - my favorite color is not orange. In fact, I rather despise the color.

My cousin was a REAL computer guru growing up, spent almost all of his time on them (still does...) and he was into C++ and Visual Basic. He taught me how to do it, and we ended up making 'cover games' ala Microsoft's Chip's Challange, you know...simple stuff. Our optimistic imaginative 12 year old minds felt that we could end up making a real business and marketing the stuff

Anywho, the company was called Orange Software, to 'oppose Apple Computers'.

When I got AOL, the max screen name limit was 10 characters (4.0) so I went with OrangeSfwr (every other letter of software due to the limit)

I used as my handle for pretty much everything I signed up for, and it kinda just stuck as a nick name, so I continued using it. Then at Apolyton everyone was screwing up my handle, OrangeSwfr and such, so I shortened it to "orange".

Oddly enough, I was about to make it "simply orange", and a year later the orange juice company of the same name appeared

First name I came up with that didn't require a number associated with it on some long forgotten email service.

It's also just about as strange as I am.

My name comes from the city in the Yucatan. I've been there twice, and I like the beaches much better than when I went to Cozumel.

I have other names, but this is the name I use the most. I also like it more because it sounds more feminine and people don't have to wonder too long if I'm female or not.

I loved Asheron's Call, can't wait for AC2 this year.

Zhu Yuanzhang was the first Emperor of the MING dynasty

I also have used (Dave) Boshko (real name) and Ahri Adaran (from Ahriman which is the Zoroastrian bad buy, Adar which is Avestan for fire, and an which is the Farsi plural, so basically demon of the flames or something along those lines).

And I'm Daztur in DAoC but I don't think that counts

They're making a new one? I might have to whore myself out and give it a try... The original had potential, but in my opinion had a few fatal flaws that ruined it for me (the combat system being the most prominent).

Wait a minute, you probably just like it because it's made by microsoft.

Yep, and it looks really really sweet. They released videos and pictures, and the game is visually stunning (swaying grass, 10x polygons per character compared to AC1). They also totally revamped the combat system so there's far more involvement.

Turbine made it over a period of four years (in a guy's garage, no less!). MS simply published it.

No comment. The X comes because I prefer letters to numbers, and some sicko had already taken "Felch" on AIM. Also it sort of has that Malcolm X quality to it. However, if people wish to think that I'm the tenth Felch, that's cool.
