The other two I just can't think of...it is hard to figure out which two you are missing out of so many.

No. I'm one of the few, however. I think it would make DC congressional offices more valuable than other congressional offices, among other things. The founding fathers knew what they were doing, as they had many European examples to guide them (in this case, what not to do), although it does sometimes create absurdities, like the former Senator from Tennessee being a Washingtonian in practice, heart, and actuality. Washingtonians know the rules when they move here and it's a special circumstance. There are many compensations.
I view the "Taxation Without Representation" license plates that are given out de rigeur as a misappropriation of my tax dollars for political speech.
I'm all for Puerto Rican statehood, if they ultimately vote for it. I think that leaves only a few territories, none of which are really large enough to be called states, even if glommed together in some fashion.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891
