Seven games in, and I've already seen an Elite Eighter go up in smoke.

****ing Pepperdine. No WAY they shoulda lost to Wake Forest.

That's the game I missed. Although I only had them winning one more game.

Thank god no money is involved in this one.
4-4 and three auto losers in the second round.

Fortunately in the money one that Ming and I are in, I WENT 8-0 woooohooooo
          Ming went 6-2

In my other money league I went 6-2.

          RAH
Figured I'd brag about that one 8-0 now since it's likely to be worse later.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Same here (in my money pool). Here I had them a Sweet 16'er.

Five wins, three losses (two of them Sweet 16'ers); all losses on the mid-range side of the bracket. So far, I'm perfect in the weak South and the ridiculously strong West.

I wonder how long Holy Cross can hold off Kansas... if they pulled an upset it would be DEVASTATING to some of you

Gonzaga is GONEzaga. You can't help but wonder if the NCAA tournament selection committee feels slightly vindicated. And that's gonna screw up a TON of brackets.

And USC is another potential heartbreaker...

So much for the Holy Cross upset bid...

I think it's safe to say USC is toast... meaning ANOTHER Final Four prospect dies in the first round.

All my losses have only stretched as far as the Sweet 16 so far... I still have a chance to win

                    Wow, I stink at this

                    Pepperdine, gone.
                    Marquette, gone.
                    Oklahoma State, gone.
                    Miami, Fl, gone.
                    Gonzaga, gone.
and USC about to exit as well.

Don't frown, H Tower. I got KILLED on Day One last year and finished dead last. There's always next year.

And it's not just you... EVERYONE is gonna be *****in' after today.

I've lost Pepperdine from my Elite Eight, and Gonzaga and USC from my Sweet 16.

Believe it or not, that's a fantastic opening day for me. I'm normally atrocious when it comes to bracket-filling. This year, I'm merely pathetic.

Remember, you have to look at POTENTIAL. Take Imran for example. You might THINK he's doing well, but with Miami (Note to Imran: Told you so) and Gonzaga (Note to Imran: Warned you it was too risky to pick 'em all the way) gone, his West is dead before it even got out of the starting block.

I've lost USC, Gonzaga, Marquette, and Pepperdine, but only from my Sweet 16. There's still tons of potential lingering below the surface.

I am worried though... today, every upset that could happen did happen. What will tomorrow be like?
