What browsers are you guys using? I had tons of problems using Netscape, but it just went through easily with IE... also, since it's the first day after the bracket picks, the server's probably really top-heavy. Tomorrow will probably be easier.

finally got all my picks (guesses) in. i'm using IE6, i figured all the page not found messages were from them being busy but i don't know why it wouldn't let me pick the champion (must've been an error like the one for the East bracket).

My picks are in, and I had no problems.

You boys can hang it up now, I've correctly picked Kansas over Duke for the National Championship.

            @ MBloomIII

My picks are in too... Oklahoma beats Connecticut to win it all. That's a bit more unlikely than your scenario, but we're not playing for money here, thank God. We'll save that for the office pool.

Has anybody here ever won a NCAA pool with over 10 players? I did once, back when Kentucky won the year that Tubby Smith took over. Pocketed $85 too.

I've run a few pools that had over $300, but, alas, I've never won.

Closest I came was when Florida gaytors made run to Final Four. I usually fill out 2 brackets , a likely and an unlikely. The unlikely bracket had the gaytors making the run. Came in 2nd with that one.

Over the years, I've won our office pool 2 times, and finished in the money a bunch of times. We usually have 75 to 150 people.
                I won 400 one year.

However, the last few years, I've sucked

So just a question... the deadline is noon on thursday?

                      Oklahoma over Ohio State?

I got Gonzaga coming from that conference . But they lose to Duke

I SO wanted to do that... put Gonzaga in the Final Four... but I think the Sooners will be too much for them. That's more of a "brain" pick than a "heart" pick... My two favorite teams will play each other in Round 2 (Gonzaga and Arizona) and I'll be rooting for whoever wins to run the table

My Final Four are Oklahoma (Gonzaga got so screwed), Duke, Kansas, and Maryland.

You can usually count on at least two or three double-digit seeds making it to the Sweet 16; I've got Providence and McNeese State and Penn for mine.

Last chance for people to sign up. Games start on Thursday.

I guess I really should make my selections. I've made them all for the money pools... now, I can make the "heart" picks, since no money is on the line
