Sorry Kaak, but that's not good enough. You've said you are better than those who are criticising you. Please provide names and details of their transgressions as opposed to your own.

sorry bugs, but the PI i've got following you took the weekend off. Seriously. You know who you are and what you do. I don't have to read your mind and commit it to type.

Incidentally, what do you do at those frat parties? Sip milky tea and mildly criticise Liberace?

If it's needed, I can provide detailed instructions on what the dangly items between your legs can be used for.

Balls, my boy. You accused me of hypocrisy on the grounds that I do far worse things than you.

I'd just like to know what real life experience lets Mr. Dilettante here sit in lofty judgement of his intellectual superiors?

you should learn to back up such statements.

Kaak, you're digging yourself a hole here, dude. And if you wanted to piss people off, you could have at least gone down to your local mall and attempted to play the bagpipes instead of starting a thread everyone is going to attack you over.

                    Let's see.
I've never killed anyone while drunk.
                    I never drink and drive.

Drinking is fine as long as you can still have some kind of logical thought. It's also fine when you plan ahead and select designated drivers and call taxis and the like.

Basically, it's fine as long as you're not stupid. Same with driving. Driving is bad because of all the accidents that happen, etc.

Drugs are bad for a variety of reasons, if you think otherwise, you are a fool.
I'll remind the hospital you said that if you ever need morphine.

Smoking does hurt others, and is quite bothersome.
Sure, I agree there. That's why I don't like smoking. Smoking is BadTM.

A million things can fall in to that category as it is quite broad. I do very few things that do. Can you say the same, honestly?
You have premarital sex. Not only are you at risk for STDs, you can impregnate someone without the bond of marriage. You have sinned, and you will join me in hell for that.

I don't do anything bad, because I don't need to rely on other's morals to tell me what I should or should not do. I know it's wrong to kill someone, I know it's wrong to drink and drive, I know it's wrong to put down a minority and "dislike" them because they're different. Evidently your brain hasn't evolved as such, and you've still got the old fashioned style of thinking where you need a church to define your morals and brainwash you into thinking anyone who disagrees with the church is wrong and will "go to hell".

gay men are men who like men.

nothing wrong with that and if they want their spirits lifted I recommend they read "Symposium" by Plato.

The thing that sometimes bothers me a bit is when they say it over and over again. I'm GAY, I'm GAY GAY GAY GAY! Hey good for you but why cry it all over town?

I can only imagine that's because being gay is a large part of who they are.

But OTOH being straight is a larg epart of who we are too so you can't point the finger.

And since our society is 90% or so straight maybe that's why they say it over and over again.

In any case gay people seem to have done a lot more of soul searvhing than the rest pf us.

                      That's not necessairily good though.

So in the end all it counts is individual personality and values.

If you're a SOB then that's what you are, gay or straight no difference. If you are an ok guy the same.

To be honest it bothers me too, that's why I'd never do it.

But I can't blame them: It's impossible to get a date unless you really advertise it. A lot of the time people would have no idea. In today's society you can assume someone is straight, and ask them out. If you assume a guy is gay, and ask him out, then you can get some pretty bad responses.

Which is why I'm always single these days...

When you have friends and family, you want to be honest with them about who you are usually.

The coming out process is a psychological process that fulfills the need for a gay man, lesbian, or bisexual to be honest with his/her family and friends.

There is also an activist function for socially coming out at work and other places. It means we will no longer suppress ourselves, or allow the society to ignore the issues that are so important for us to deal with.
A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.

are we going to have to get into a debate over what is "bad" and what isn't???
