the funny thing is that this "you are a closet homo" is the default response for people who don't like homos from homos.

i mean serious, you are going to have to do better than that. I promise, and you can trust me on this one, there are a whole lot of people who have absolutely NO desire to be like you.

"I thought you must be dead ..." he said simply. "So did I for a while," said Ford, "and then I decided I was a lemon for a couple of weeks. A kept myself amused all that time jumping in and out of a gin and tonic."

The male physique is ugly, where a woman's body is probably god's greatest creation...
Yeah, 's a wonder why every women isn't a lesbian.

I just don't get why you care where somebody else likes to stick their...uh...stick.

This is like me telling people who eat broccoli that I don't like them.

I can always resort to the classic "You would hate being homosexual because the "size" of the other men embarasses you" way.

Look, we're not trying to be original here. The main reason people don't like something or someone is because they feel threatened by it. Consciously or subconsciously it's usually a defence mechanism. You said yourself you're not a "super Christian" so you're not just against it because your church told you so. You're against it for other reasons, because they're different. If that's true, why don't you hate blacks?

i mean serious, you are going to have to do better than that. I promise, and you can trust me on this one, there are a whole lot of people who have absolutely NO desire to be like you.
And here I was thinking everyone wanted to be like me.
You really put me in my place.
Surely I've never advocated that everyone is a unique person and should be a unique person.
Surely I'm trying to convert you to the Dark Side right now by mocking your ignorance and bigotry.

Really, what do you expect? Do you want everyone to applaud you for finally realizing you're an intolerant hick?

I don't like fat people either, remember? I definately don't feel threatened by a fat attack...I don't like it simply because i think it is disgusting. i mean, seriously...THINK about it...eww...

Anyway...To each their own, if gays want to be gays, they can be gays, i'm not trying to say they can't. but that doesn't mean I have to like them.

It's quite telling that you think of sex whenever you see fat people and gay people.

You're right, you can believe and think what you want.
But don't go making people's lives hell and putting them down because you're a bigot and don't approve of it.

I have a bisexual friend who lives in Utah. He's 19, leaving on his mission in a few weeks. He was informed by the church that it's perfectly fine to have homoerotic feelings and thoughts, as long as you don't act on them.

He also had to give his word to the church that he would never act on them.

And sent him to some therapy to "cure" him.

They think he's "cured" now but he's still very much bi, if not gay.

                              I do not like Christians

Are you making the statement that people who don't like Christians are bigots?

Maybe you feel threatened by them?

Everyone is entitled to hold whatever beliefs they like in the privacy of their own head. However, putting those beliefs into action is another matter. That includes setting out your stall in a thread.

What you choose to think is up to you, but coming out with a statement of intent aimed at a sexual grouping stating "I think you are disgusting" means you're now out in the open.

What were you trying to achieve with this thread? Some form of justification, or acceptance? Along the lines of "Hey! It's OK to be a gay-hater!"? It hasn't worked.

Threads are ephemeral. If you want lasting impact, pop into your local tattooist to have your forehead adorned with the words "I am an imbecile".
