But I can't blame them: It's impossible to get a date unless you really advertise it. A lot of the time people would have no idea. In today's society you can assume someone is straight, and ask them out. If you assume a guy is gay, and ask him out, then you can get some pretty bad responses.
Oh, this probably explains why gay men never come up to me and say "I'M GAY, I'M GAY. I'M GAY, I'M GAY." There must be something about me that turns them off. I think they're worried that there might be a "Missle Gap" between us.

There is also an activist function for socially coming out at work and other places. It means we will no longer suppress ourselves, or allow the society to ignore the issues that are so important for us to deal with.

The key war was "plain". Don't soil the name of Christianity by attaching your bigotry to it. And again, you are by no means in a better moral position then the homosexuals-- premarital sex is as bad as gay sex. And you can't call people here hypocrites for discussing your bigotry, because you invited discussion to it by starting a thread about it.

If you want to be a good Christian, you will work against your bigotry.

Guys, I....Ihave to admit it. I'm a Bigot too.

Yes, I'm a God -fearing Man, but I just think that...Being French is wrong.

Sorry. I'm just offended by the very existance of French speakers.

Except for the Cajuns, their our Frenchies. Frenchies with Hot Sauce! "I gar-run-tee!"

Sorry KrazyHorse, and Zobe(?). I am offended by your very existance. As such, I shall post it on this message board.

I'd just like to know what real life experience lets Mr. Dilettante here sit in lofty judgement of his intellectual superiors
Sneak: I don't know what you consider intellectual superiority, but if you're talking about IQ, their are few on this board who can compare.

You are making ad hominem comments because you are biased, and strongly disagree with my opinions.

MrFun, no need to post it again, everyone saw it the first time and didn't think it was funny.

premarital sex is as bad as gay sex.
Umm..1. I disagree, even if you want to pretend all sins are equal, premarital sex is 1 sin. gay sex is two (premarital, and the fact that it is homosexual...)

Stranglove: i'm sorry you felt like i was addressing you. I didn't realize you were perfect. How old are you again?

Asher, kudos for being able to hold your alchohol. I wish everyone were so self controlled...

Incidentally, what do you do at those frat parties? Sip milky tea and mildly criticise Liberace?
Nah, it's usually gatoraide or apple juice. parties are also good for socializing and dancing, in case you didn't know.

Perhaps Kaak isn't very "enlightened" or "open minded" but he's honest to himself and others, and feels no obligation to conform to popular views (you MUST love everyone etc.)

While I don't hate any specific group of individuals, i think that disliking people is ok, while you don't actively do something about it.

From what I get he isn't actually doing anything to hurt gays nor will he ever do, as he tries to steer his life away from gay people.

A scenraio which could result in discrimination is if, say, he has to hire a homosexual or work with one, or serve one or what ever. I hope Kaak will be able to outgrow his personal dislike and treat them just like anyone else, while, perhaps choosing not to socialise with them. That would be acceptable. If he does discriminate against them, it would be bad.

I can honestly say that I do not descriminate against any group of individuals. While I may personally dislike a person and choose not to spend time with them, I treat them just as fairly and honestly as I treat others and even my friends.

That has also sometimes brought along some conflicts, when friends expected to have special treatment from me, when I was in position of power (floating voice / manager).

But proudly I say, I keep treating people quite fairly and irrelevant to my personal liking or disliking with them.

Here we go with IQ bull****.
What kind of IQ test did you take?

Disliking people is okay, I don't like everyone myself.
But I don't make that judgement based upon their sexuality, color, religion, etc.
I get to know people for who they are as people, and then decide if I like them or not.

From what I get he isn't actually doing anything to hurt gays nor will he ever do, as he tries to steer his life away from gay people.
Once he leaves his sheltered preschool-esque life at Baylor and steps into the real world, he'll have to work with gay people. And if he lives this sheltered life always thinking that gays are deviant people who he doesn't like by default, he's going to end up hurting people whether he means to or not.

Asher that's why i didn't post a score. The last formal test was two years ago, and they said i was in the top .05% of the population.

As for partying, I'm generally the only person at most of our parties who isn't quite intoxicated Guess who get's to be the DD? Trust me, we know "how to party" and more specifically, I can have a great time without drinking

                                You didn't answer the question.
Everybody says they took the IQ test, everybody says they're above average.

People who really took the IQ test would easily be able to answer what type of test it was (the formal name), and how long it took you.
