A couple of years ago, I've seen a Slovakian (?) ice-hockeyer whose last name was Satan.
If he is a Slovak then you should spell "s" as a "sch".

How about these "men's" names: Mandy Patinkin, Dana Elcar

      What were the parents thinking???

          Kirsten DUNST

Dunst means odor, bad smell in scandinavian. Saw that ugly last name smeared across a video tape. Dunst was a cheerleader jumping around delivering bad smells thru her exhaust pipe.

In Norway their's a small village in the western part (of course) called Bleie. This means Diaper. A woman from this area was called Rosa Bleie. Which in English is Pink Diaper.

Well, there's a small town called Vittula in northern Sweden, right next to Finnish border....the Finnish meaning of "Vittula" would probably translate best as "Fuckville". I'm not familiar with the history of this town, but I guess it was Finnish pioneers who named it as a joke, and the Swedes probably didn't understand the name's true meaning...In northern Finland and Sweden there are a lot of other funny and pervert place names, especially around the border (wonder why ), including Vittulampi (lampi = small lake, pond), Paskasuo (see Pascal), etc...

Seeing as you all got off the topic and started talking about place names.....

In New Zealand there is a place called Whakapapa. Maoris pronounce "wh" as "far"
