I guess. Except it's not a state fair.
It's world famous, most state fairs aren't.
Seriously, when the Stampede rolls in town the hotels are booked solid all the time.

Wow...hate based on accents...I guess it's okay for me to hate you for being gay then

I'm not gay.
And I don't hate the people based on accents, I hate the accents.
Figure it out, Einstein.

You know times are bad when people are arguing over 1500 little tourist dollars.

Coming from the kid living in Waco?
Going to the college that kicks people out for being different?
Only small things like the Olympic Games ever happened here, too.
That's almost funny, but it's more sad...

Right right, Waco sucks, blah blah. It's right in the middle of everything. Close to Fort Worth/Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, Houston, and all kinds of other wonderful places. I can never ever find anything to do

I was with you up until you began defending Waco, Kaak. Last year I went up there for the Baylor game, and the entire damn city feels as if it was layed out by a drunken Bear.
But yeah, you have to see the Hill Country, Palo Duro Canyon, Amarillo (think "Winnipeg" Asher) and, of course, one of the greatest cities in the world (I've lived just about everywhere in the USA, and most of Europe) San Antonio.
Today, you are the waves of the Pacific, pushing ever eastward. You are the sequoias rising from the Sierra Nevada, defiant and enduring.
Winnipeg: A town infested by drunk Natives and high unemployment rates in the middle of plains and nothing to see?
Why would you want to go anywhere like that?

The only good thing I said about it was that it was in the middle of a lot of great places and I like baylor.
I don't really think it is that bad tho...I grew up in a small town. It is nice to live somewhere where you don't have to drive an hour to get to a mall, movie theatre, or Wal-marts =)

God, Winnipeg was boring. Most boring place I've ever been. The art museum sucked, there was nothing to see, and they can't even make a decent hamburger and fries (I asked to be taken to have some Canadian food, this is what I get). At least I got to see a government strike. That was neat.

sp i piss you off????? i remember a different tune......
canadians have accents and you even hate each other so i guess i won't take this thread seriously *kaak: east and western canadians HATE each other)
we have everyy sort of landscape that the world has: mountains., hills, rivers, the gulf of mexico, desert, forest...
we have the 2 month long Rennaissance Festival
so waco sucks..and it does....does that make canada better for it's vast expanses of nothingness (in your northern areas)?
*bends over for asher*
