kaak = excited. I may have a house in galveston by the time all this takes place. That could be a place to stop, or stay while visiting Houston."Mal nommer les choses, c'est accroître le malheur du monde" - Camus (thanks Davout)

We usually camp out on the beach. What about floating down the Guadalupe River that's always an option.
Yes David ~ I won't forget about Tia's kid she can come to if she's not into doing her teenager thing. We have an amazing fireworks show over Zilker park for forth of July and if he comes at the right time we also have free music concerts at Auditorium Shores and at Shady Grove. So you see there is quite alot to do here in Austin and Texas.Welcome to earth, my name is Tia and I'll be your tour guide for this trip.

IIRC July would be the appointed time. By then the Guadalupe should be ok, but only if we get enough rain.Welcome to earth, my name is Tia and I'll be your tour guide for this trip.

EiF: Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) is a big dirty naked celebration, particularly in new orleans where girls get beads for showing their tits. There are also a few parades and things like that that no one cares aboutanyway, It is like Carnival. Check out the website: http://www.mardigras.com
