Not at the Humane Society, obviously. Maybe in a chain gang doing road work though.

Oh, and to answer the earlier question, this was all over the news today and talk radios.

They showed the family on TV with an interview. The mom did the talking and the kid just sat there, tears falling from his eyes.

                    • ****ing tragic. I'd probably have been traumatized for life if some wackos strung up my dog right before my eyes when I was 10. Hell, I'd probably be traumatized for life today, when I'm 23. Those kids need to be punished, but they also need serious psychiatric help, and ought to perform thousands upon thousands of hours of community service.

                      • Too bad. "Just kids" who hang around together, decided to terrorize a younger kid by killing his dog in front of him for the **** of it. Cry me a goddamned river for how hard they've had it. Boohoo****inghoo.
They're screwed up in the head, MtG, you don't kill them for that. You arrest them and try them for their crimes under the law, and of course send them straight to an institution. Nothing more.

This time it's just an animal, and they were yucking it up while scaring the much younger kid who's dog it was.
Kids who kill animals are obviously not in the right frame of mind, and as yin said will likely kill again in the future. But you don't seek out and destroy them for that, you find them and get medical treatment. Killing them would be cold blooded murder. Killing a dog or scaring a kid isn't even close.

Good, donate their ****ing brains to science.
                        Come again?

Hate to break it to you, but it's not just killing a dog - they did it to scare and emotionally torture the little boy who had the dog.
Is that a crime? Does it warrant the death penalty? As mentally disturbed teens they scared a little kid. Fry 'em!

Then they should have gotten it before they decided to go out and have a little "fun"
                        How forgiving of you.

Maybe, but probably not. It's a little late for that anyway.
How exactly would you know? You are after all the one ordering their executions.

The dog had a number of redeeming values. These little parasites are wasting oxygen, food, and space.
So a dog is more important than a screwed up teenager now? Wonderful, MtG, wonderful. Just be thankful you weren't born without any sort of disorder.

More **** than you could dream of, but when caught, I took the consequences straight up, and I never sank near the level of terrorizing a little kid, killing people's animals for the hell of it, or cruising around hiding behind a bunch of sick *******s so the group of us can find someone weaker to **** with.
BECAUSE YOU WEREN'T MENTALLY OUT OF IT, MTG!

There's a difference between being rowdy and getting in trouble, and being a sick, psychotic waste of organic molecules like these ****bags.
For one thing they did as a kid, they deserve to be shot? It's not murder, MtG, it's just wrongful/cruel treatment to animals. Doubt they'll spend more than a few weeks in jail for it. As for their mental condition, that'll be addressed in accordance with the legal system. As it should be. You have NO RIGHT to declare them worthless, not legally and certainly not morally. Killing a bunch of disturbed kids who quite possibly might have grown up to be normal human beings would be one of the gravest crimes and tragedies a mind could imagine.

Yes - they're still alive, intact, and cruising around looking for someone else to **** with. That is terrible and depressing.
                        It is.

I'd probably rip his balls off and feed them to those kids who killed the dog.
