For a novice Hueij, those are very impressive moves. I see you learn quickly and well. I am impressed, you could be a grandmaster in the making.

But alas no match for the clout of my experience with Ealing Broadway. I'm firmly rooted in the Metropolitan line now, and my nisbets are moving ever closer to zones 1 and 2, where I have many-a-counter stacked

        Oooh ooooh oooh!

I think no one can argue with this one!

I invoke the 4 page rule and call:

Ah but my dear provost, you'll never succeed if you can't get into zones 1 and 2, now will you? And so, to that end, I will play my "Fault" counter, and say Chancery Lane again.

Chowlett not only cross posted with me for the MC, but with Higgs for the same stop .

Come on Imran, be serious. First Northern Line and now this? I know there is some funny game on tv on your side, but there was this week-long discussion way back in '73 about funny sports games and rushing more important things. I had the impression it was settled there and then and I don't want to do it all over again. So Croxley it is.

Hueij: It's already decided, as Senaca, a Brit gave approval.

You can start the new game with Croxley...

                  To that, I'll play:

                  Wimbledon

The 4 page rule? You mean

"In the case of a shunt involving 7 or more nisbets (except on the Circle line, when 8 are needed) the shunter shall be entitled (but not required) to place the shuntee into huff anywhere on the Northern Line (unless the shuntee is already on the Northern Line, for which case use the Hammersmith and City)"

                    ?

                    • Ah fair enough, an accepted victory. Incidentally, I didn't cross post Chancery Lane, I merely stayed there due to an electrical fault on the Central Line.

Ah Imran, my across-the-Atlantic friend, I can see how you got to that conclusion... But alas, to all of us on this side it's obvious that he was sarcastic (granted, British sarcasm is not easy to grasp, not even to us Euro's).

Anyways, I may be a novice but even I know that Croxley is a b***h to start with. I am waiting for the day that it is declared illegal...

Edit: D**n, missed Seneca's last post... Congrats Imran, mumble mumble mumble,...

                            • Watching this last game unfold, I can see that there are some true pros playing. The invocation of the page four rule was truly inspired and a well deserved victory. However, looking back over the posts, it amazez me that Seneca missed his oppourtunity with the Neasden-Tottenham Court Road 1978 Juxtaposational 12 bridges ruling. You must be sick as a parrot over that one!!

Anyway, I think that my input into this round will be well met by some valiant opposition. I trust my move of Hatton Cross will be met with the traditional defense. It is in your hands now...
