  • I see you've all got sucked into a Rayners Lane Folly. Really folks, I thought you'd be beyond this childish b*tching.

To end this stalemate, I shall play Elephant and Castle

    • Rayner's Lane Folly? Pah.
I think you'll find, that my moves were the foundation to a reverse-Rayner nullation ploy. Of course, it is usual to play White City first, so I can see how you missed it.

      • What the intention was and what actually happened are two completely incongruous entities though IW!

Now to inflict a Notting Hill Gate waylay on several of you and play Canary Wharf. I do like some of these dockland-updated neoclassical shafters...the advantages of being up to date with the latest strategic analysis. And surely with this display, victory is mine for a second game in a row. I will have to back off, I am not really giving any of you are fair chance

        • Neo-Classicism is sooooo last century. And the Dockland redevelpoment isn't finished yet, rendering Canary Wharf overrated, even as a Notting Hill Gate enabler.

Of course, by playing it you have distracted from my goal, but not significantly, as you passed up the opportunity to play the more effective Canada Water.

Of course, B*B's Shub-Niggurath declaration has rendered the Jubilee line a dangerous trap for fools, for at least 6 more posts, so you better pray you are on the Dockland's Light Railway part of Canary Wharf.

So in conclusion, it becomes ever more obvious that the move of choice would be to trap you on the DLR, with a West India Quay bottleneck trap, sacrificing a pair of red counters, but leaving you floundering in the murky waters of the Thames for a while.

          • Oh come on, I have a lot of fingers in a lot of pies in this game, and I can quickly shunt past you before you can implement even the most basic kind of Hendon-Wallis pincer.

So I intend to switch to Turnpike Lane slowly, but firmly, closing in on my prey...

                      • Tooting Broadway should be a fine show. Of course, all we are waiting for is for IW to realize that he can win... I mean, uh... he can win 6 nisbits, yeah... that's it.

Not true, my dear Provost. As IW pointed out, your west flank is mightily exposed. And while, with your nisbets scattered merrily about the Metropolitan and Central lines, you would appear safe over there, careful though will in fact demonstrate that your Piccadilly holdings are dangerously low. You didn't think I'd spot that, did you? Well, Ickenham, then, and may it cause you palpitations!

Realise? But of course. A subtle anti-Provost ploy as a diversion, then move in to Canon's Park.

For my 6 nisbets for now...
