    • Since I am still in the process of executing a Crumpet Hammer, (remember: Heigelman 43, subclause A), I go for

      Elm Park.

(note: this is the 1967 variation, not the 1965 one)
Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test. Thank you for helping us help you help us all!

      • That leaves me no choice but to play Camden Town

        • You're a great favourite of Camden Town, aren't you Provost? You know they say that a predictable player is as useless as a Mousehole leftwardly-biased salmon escutcheon maneouvre at the Elephant and Castle, don't they?

I always play unexpected moves. Such as Kendal Green. That will cause you to pause and rethink, now won't it?

          • I love Camden Town thanks. Within spitting distance of Mornington Crescent you see. Quite possibly one of the most useful stations on the grid. Holding that is like holding the hill in any great battle

I also have a bit of a penchant for Mile End at the moment too

              • Minus 10 nisbits for bad singing there, Mono.

Clapham Common should do the trick.

                • You forgot the +11 due to the old Cambridge Manor runaround gambit... Employed as a result of my encirclement of Provost's two past moves...

I assumed you'd take them account but I guess I underestimated you amateurishness...

                  • Only problem is that Provost out-circled you with his play of Mile End.

And of course I'm an amateur... Hell, you think I get paid for this?

                    • With an elegant Bumper Sticker Watcher Turnaround Climber, I move for Leicester Square. Hows that for a key location, aye Provost?

                      • I once nearly became a professional, but decided the glittering lights and fame were not for me, and decided to become a humble Oxford student instead.

But anyway, enough of my missed opportunities. I shall play Uxbridge

                        • Speaking of missed oppourtunities, Pimlico was one for you. You totally missed the Green-slot low-end No-Way sacrifice which would have set you up a treat, and earned more than a pretty nisbet. Oh well, it's mine now!

                          • If we are dealing with short-term gain, yes, that would be a wise move. But like chess, we all know what the end aim is, and that requires some sacrifice.

Holloway Road should make my pieces fall into place eventually.

Heathen! You think this is a game to be taken lightly? That it deserves no respect? That there's actually a station called Pirnlico? It's Pimlico! Get OUT until you learn to lay.

Meanwhile, back in the game proper, Shepherd's Bush will leave you fair stymied, I think.
