Let us ask ourselves a few questions:

Why was the United States involved in Vietnam?

Why was the United States involved in the Middle East during the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait.

Why does the United States have military bases in so many different countries and is allowed to make use of foreign military bases?

Why are so many foreigners opposed to the U.S. military presence in their countries?

    These are but a few.

Who claims that the Soviet Union was not as bad as the U.S. in its foreign policy in meddling in the affairs of other nations? Relax, the poll does not represent any significant group of people. The numbers are small and one cannot make a generalization based on such small numbers.

If anyone bothered to read my last post, I stated my opinion. Not that my opinion matters of course.

        I'll have to go with:

        1) Canada
        2) Greece

"We're going to kill all of your people, aye."
"We are going to rape all of your women, aye."
"We are going to take away your lands and destroy your cities, aye."
        "Aye."

****ing evidence is very clear on this one.

The US was rather brutal towards the natives. Not as bad as Spain, but driving them into reservations, then killed off the buffalos so they can't expand out, was a close second.

The US's propensity of meddling around the globe doesn't win it any friends, of course.

Yeah. It's a big one. Far exceeded Spain and the USSR for the sheer lack of humanity.

What separates the US from all of these nations is that when the US does **** up, we freely admit it, and we are the ones most critical of ourselves.

When was the last time you heard about any one of those nations listed on that list issuing an apology or expressing regret for its actions? Only UK, and that's about it.

That's why we kick so much ass, and you all love us, whether you care to admit it or not, because we are a people that hold ourselves accountable.

Why isn't Spain paying reparations to the entire continent of South America?

SlowwHand, you are more than welcome to think what you like about me, but America's foreign policy and presence is not particularily welcomed in most countries. When you have gone to the point of calling me an idiot, then at least have the courtesy of telling me why, otherwise your comments don't make any sense.

Americans are modern day Romans, and America, just like the Roman Empire, looks good in appearance but is permeated with rot and decay.

On a sidenote, you know, whenever one drives across the border from Canada into the United States, it so obvious that the urban landscape changes from clean to dirty.

Sorry, again, I boofed up. They said in 47 B.C. (Click on the link on other page!).

You must read the link. I also saw somthing on the discovery channel about it! And the culprit they named was one of Caesar's soldiers who used the GL as a place to sleep. And accidentally started a fire.

The loss of the library was mankind's largest loss of knowledge. 50 years later, after it had burned, people forgot about mankinds history.
