  • What Does Spain Have To Be Proud Of?

I'm just wondering...nothing at all springs to mind since it is one of the poorest EU countries, a habitually underachieving football team, and no great beers to speak of.

(The three most important criteria by which a European country is judged).

    Discuss.

Great art, fantastic wines, spectacular landscapes, a proud literary tradition, incredible architecture, possibly the greatest football club in the world and the fact that it's a thousand miles away from an attention-seeking little twatbag from the arse end of Manchester.

Their national team might be underachieving, but their clubs do very well in UEFA cup and Champions League.

Beckham might move to Madrid though when his contract expires in 2003...

What we have that is great, is that we don´t have raving ****heads like you. One of the poorest? That won´t be a factor for long. We got some of the nicest architecture in Europe, some of the oldest cities, a capitol that dates back thousands of years ago, a large manufacturing sector and good decent people.

                    Three minor points:

                    1) Listen to Bugs, he always speaks the truth: Real Madrid, 8 times European Champion. HALA MADRID!!!! Who cares about the national team btw?

                    2) Beckham will never ever move to Madrid. We have Macca

                    3) No matter what Giancarlo says, he's not Spanish. The poor fellow still ignores that the Spanish law does not contemplate birthplace rights (thank God!!!!). ElAwrence and I have agreed that he can stay in Buenos Aires for ever

Hey at least I live in a Spanish speaking country... you live in San Diego if I am right. Birthplace rights? You little ****ing imbecil, I was born in Madrid.

do you live in Argentina? What's the deal over there? The news says people are looting supermarkets. Is an economic collapse imminent?

I am not really sure. I usually follow the phrase: Those who ignore history are condemned to repeat it. This government ignored history, and is condemned to repeating it. I am fearing that the military could step in if the crisis gets worse and if this country devalues. My country: Spain, aswell as other countries like Italy and Brazil have too much at risk here... we can´t let a meltdown happen.

                            Forgot this one:

                            4) No matter what Giancarlo says, Spain's capital is far from dating back thousands of years.

Your ignorance of history disturbs me. You little impudent ****. Madrid was founded in 1561 by King Philip II so I stand corrected but not by this impudent snotball Jaybee.

Spain itself has a history dating back a thousand years or so.
