Gianni, what's the capital of Spain? When was it founded, dear? And please, stop the name calling, will you? Thanks.

      Madrid.

Again, you cannot read. R-e-a-d m-y p-o-s-t. It says it right there. What is the matter with you?

Does this post make sense, or has Gianny just been corrected by an impudent history-ignorant ****-snotball?

Teehee, very funny. I corrected myself by looking the figure up.

and would you have looked it up had Jay Bee not pointed it out? I'm thinking "no"...

Absolutely not. I had doubts about what I said and already was searching the history of Madrid. So you lose.

Gianni, with all the respect you deserve from me:

Madrid was not founded in 1561
Madrid was not founded by King Philip II
Spain itself does not have a history dating back a thousand years or so.

So, you tell me what to do with this

Umm, I hate to break this to you but you are wrong.

http://www.madridman.com/madhistory.html - It was founded the capital in 1561 by King Philip II so I stand right.

http://encarta.msn.com/find/concise....057&sid=40#s40 - 3000 BC... teehee, we got a majorly wrong person here. Jaybee go suck up the facts. That is the way it is.

Or it could be the fact that jaybee says these respectible sites are wrong on evidenceless remarks?

Dear, Madrid was founded in the IX century by the Moors. That's slightly different from "1561 by Philip II"

Dear, Spain was 'founded' as we know it today in 1479. Iberian history dates back to 3000 BC. Either case that's not "a thousand years or so", as you stated.

Tell me again what to do with this

                        from http://www.madridman.com/madhistory.html
Madrid was made capital of Spain in 1561 by King Philip II who was born there
                        Not founded: made capital.

The earliest records of an aboriginal past in the Iberian Peninsula are Paleolithic cave paintings, found in the region of the Bay of Biscay and the western Pyrenees, which exhibit a remarkable degree of animation and skill. Distinctly different from this development in the north was the later Neolithic Almerian culture (3000? BC) of southeastern Spain, which was akin to that of prehistoric Africa.
                        Iberian tribes, not Spain.

                        Concrete, Abstract, or Squoingy?

Umm, if Madrid was founded in 1581 how is that thousands of years? (Just me being a pinckity little shit )

Spain seems like a nice enough place (though go back 25 years and I'm sure it's not).

I am sorry, I lost my temper. I am not participating in this round of shoving the same facts back and forth match anymore. Good luck on your own.

You said that clumsily, in your third post. Your first two were therefore wrong.
