  • Next US' targets?

Three countries mentioned in a paper here as possible next targets in the war against terrorism are Iraq, Somalia and North Korea. (Korea was named because they are refusing to allow weapon inspectors in the country, like Iraq). Does anyone have any ideas/info on this?

Don't make any mistake Somalia has a barely functioning government, who is supported by the west. The idea is to fund them and help them retake territory, now they are only in control of the captial.

Saddam Hussein needs to go and North Korea should have its weapons program decomissioned.

We're sending a billion dollars to help the Philippines fight Abu Sayeff, and have offered the Phils military assistence. They are the next target.

            What the commie said.

Although I don't know if that would be considered a primary objective. I think Bush is leaving it up to President Arroyo to decide which direction she wants to take it.

But I think if we *really* want the job done, we should do it ourselves.

But then we have to pick and choose our battles. Can't do it all at once.

For some of you who have not heard yet..This is like WWIII.

Israel bombing Palestine......USA bombing Afghanistan...preparing to move on Iraq (I know it were going to do it!)

Ethiopia moves army into Somalia. Tho this move hasnt been confirmed by reporters (only somali civilians) I can understand why considering the state Somalia is in. I doubt there is a reporter in the country. And getting an answer from the Ethiopian defense ministry is like talking to a wall.

And after a while the Coalition is going to realise that some their members are slightly less than savoury (Syria, Saudi Arabia, Iran etc.), and then all hell will break loose. Is it just me or does anyone else think that Syria (sponsors of among others Hamas), just joined the Coalition to try and avoid the fallout of Sept 11th, and that they really have no intention to stop Islamic terrorist groups in any way, shape or form?

WWIII? Hahaha... very funny. Against who. Actual nations with functioning economies? The chances against the US is what Manuel Noriega had... 0-1,000,000,000,000,000,000, there was no way he had enough power to even put up one battle.

Ethopia's Army? Ethopia has a army? I never knew that.

WWII, was a fight between the USSR, Nazi Germany, French Resistance and the US. This doesn't even stack up to a world war.

That's cause you're stupid. They have the biggest army in Africa.

What about Britain? Italy? Japan? etc, etc, etc, etc. Funny that you include the French resistance but happen to forget the British.

The USA lost in Vietnam didn't they? And the invasion of Cuba went so well too. Or how about the time the US sent troops to Somalia?

Sorry, I meant to put that in my edit the second time.

The US won every battle in Vietnam, but it was just costing too many.

Cuba... the US never invaded Cuba, the CIA trained Cuban Exiles. The time US troops were sent to Somalia was nothing, absolutely nothing. Certainly, Mr. Pessimistic over here, did not say anything about the thousands of Somalis who were killed because they attacked the US rangers. How many US rangers were killed? Not many.

And you are a dumb****, Ethopia's Army collapsed in the early 1990s, and it was completely rebuilt. There isn't much. Probably 100,000.

And Egypt has the largest army in Africa, you idiot.
