    -"but true"
I guess I'll leave that to you and DanS.

-"I'm waiting to see a viable alternative"
I think the Dems wanted to up unemplyoment insurance, which would help a lot of folks in NYC, not to mention be converted to consumer spending. The GOP didn't care for the idea. One of the top House guys basically said it was unamerican.

    -"Actually it was"
Not according to what I saw, but I don't think it's a big deal regardless.

-"have you seen a resent political figure with so many, so often?"
Well, imo Iran-Contra was worse than anything the Clintons did.

-"how are non-US Citizens her constituents"
I guess she takes a broader view, esp. since many of these folks have legal family members. Anyway, it sounded like a small act and was in response to the plane crash.

2 weeks ago, after the plane crash, she had the audacity to try and change US emegration laws to allow ILLEAGAL immigrants to fly to Santo Domingo and than RETURN!
How dare she make a step towards freedom of movement!

I don't think she is that bad. Of course I don't live in New York. But I don't expect Senators to visit victims families. They have more important work to do.

Not to say I like her. I don't like her or Bill for their fake marriage. If she's not going to have sex with him they shouldn't be married. And Bill can get the blowjobs he deserves

"more important work to do. "

Um yes like run down security at airports so she can rush off to Fundraisers ... or go on shows claiming her daughter was in danger on 9 11 which Chelsea contadicted.

I think Pataki and Gulliani have more improtant work to do and yet still attend Funerals.

Save the Leftest crap for someone who's impressed with it Ramo, you still don't even pay taxes, so your opinion on Pols is suspect as it is.
She would be better served helping people who try to work through the law, so save this crap, because it's inappropreate.
She's trying to favor Non-US Citizens over US Citizens, think about it before you shoot your mouth off.

Bush in no way gave NY a blank check. In a well-documented meeting, Schumer and Clinton went to the White House soon after the disaster. Bush asked how much they needed. They said $20 billion. Bush said "you've got it."

chris: I'm certainly no fan of Clinton. The most damning thing I can say about her is that she doesn't have a good political sense. But you guys voted her in, so she's yours.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

They're far inferior to BBC News which, incidentally, is meant to be neutral by statute. Of course it can't succeed 100%, nothing can be totally free from bias, but it does appear to do a better job than *any* of the US News Outlets. And I'm not the only one to agree - BBC News Online receives more hits than any other online news resource - a staggering statistic considering that British people make up a small minority of the market for such a resource.
I completely agree. BBC is indeed the best source of news that I know.

Thanks for clearing that up Chris. It just seemed odd that many people mention such banal reasons for hating her, rather than anything of actual substance. Hell, the first reason you gave for your dislike was that she didn't go to the Disaster Zone... another said he hates her because of her fake marriage... others hate her for having so much PR (if this were the case she would've made plenty capital outta September 11th anyway like everyone else up to and including the bloody WWF, non?)... so I'm glad that it isn't such lame blind hatred!

I don't know anything else about her, but from what I hear, she's supporting cutting federal budget(sp?) on Education and Special Education.

Honestly... I mean that effects me personally!

Oh not to mention her smartass comments on "The Joy of Ritalin and how every kid with ADD should be on it (bye law)"

Just for the Record. Ritalin blows I took a clone just like it in the 80's. All it did was make me high......And turns out I didnt have ADD.

Better get used to the sound of it, conservatives. It is going to occur. No power in the universe can stop it.

And just think, the Clintons could be completely off the national radar scope right now... But, nooooooooooooo! We've got to go after him for sex lies, when he's in his lame duck term of office

Because I currently don't pay income (I do pay sales taxes, for instance) taxes, my opinion on immigration is "suspect?"

How so? Is she preventing US citizens form entering the country?
